The system followed in our college is not good.

Placements: The placements of GCOEA were very poor during 2017-2018. Companies offered very low salary packages. The average salary package offered was 3.36 LPA only, which was very less. Only a few companies visit our college for placements and offer more than 5 LPA salary package, which was very less. Internships provided here were also not good.

The college is below average.

Placements: In 2018, placements of our college were about 30-40%, and in the previous year, it was about 40%. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cybage, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package offered by them was about 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was about 2.4 LPA.

It is difficult for the students to survive in this college.

Placements: CS and IT students are getting good placements, but there is no scope of placements for the core branches like E&TC, mechanical, civil and electrical. Students have high expectations from the T&P cell because the students are brilliant, and the T&P cell is unable to meet the requirements of students. Maximum students are placed in TCS Ninja and Cognizant. Only a handful of students get packages over 5 LPA.

We hope that the batch of 2020 will get more opportunities than this year.

Placements: Placements provided for our seniors are quite average. Placements for our batch have not yet started. Around 80%-90% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 7.40 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. TCS Ninja, TCS Digital, Cognizant, Syntel and Samsung were the companies visiting for placements. Around 30%-40% of the students got internships. The highest stipend offered was Rs. 12,000 per month. We also have an efficient placement cell.

This is the worst educational institute.

Placements: When I joined the college in 2014, the placements were good. But since then, the rate of placements has dropped drastically. College doesn't organise any placement orientated drives. There is a placement cell available in the college, but it is not even 10% useful for students.

It is the best government college in Vidharbha regarding opportunities.

Placements: As for the current year, the placement process is still going on. Until now, about 60-70% of students got placed from the CS and IT departments. The very first company that visited our campus was TCS Digital which hired 4 students. Those 4 students included two students from the CS department, one student from the IT department and another student from ELPO. They offered a salary package of 7.50 LPA. After that, consecutively two mass recruiters, TCS Ninja and Cognizant also visited our campus a...

Absolutely depressing, I regret getting enrolled in here.

Placements: I don't know much about it so I won't unnecessarily say anything, But most of the students get placed in IT companies, only very few of them are placed in core companies. It is utter nonsense if you think of getting placed in IT companies after spending 5 years learning so much about automobiles.

Our college has good placements, but the faculty and infrastructure are the worst.

Placements: Every year, at least 4-5 companies visit the college for recruitment. About 80% of the interested candidates got placed. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, etc., visit the college for placements, but the sad part is that they hardly offer 4 LPA. So, lots of students are not interested in the recruitment process.

One can prefer this college as their last option.

Placements: For core branches, i.e., electrical, mechanical, and civil, the placements were not satisfactory. But, placements for non-core related branches were good. So, IT and CS branches are good from the placement point of view. The college makes the students eligible for various open campus drives. The average CGPA offered by most of the companies is 6.75 LPA and above.

Do not settle for Government College if you can get a better option.

Placements: Placements of the college are very poor. Only 4 out of 80 students were placed, and even those 4 students were placed in IT companies. Placements of our senior batch were good. No electrical company visited our college. Placements for IT and the computer science branch are better than the placements of other core branches.

Placements are not satisfactory.

Placements: Placements are not satisfactory except for the computer science engineering department. No PSU or other companies visit the college for placement. No company visited the college to hire the students of the electrical engineering department during my time. No core companies visited in 2017-18, and the guidance they provide for placements is very poor.

Don't go for this college in 1st round, take if you get it in final round of cap.

Placements: If the student is from IT and CS then he can expect placements in this college as only IT companies are recruiting in good figure. Whereas for core branches the placement is very bad as only 1 or 2 companies are visiting for them. This year the electrical placement was very low and no single core company visited the campus. While single company visited for civil. And 2-3 companies for mechanical engineering. Lastly the college is not going well with the placements, I would say.

Choosing this college is just waste of money and time.

Placements: The worst placement cell belongs to this college. The training and placement department of gcoea is totally inactive. Last year only computer and IT students had placed. For core branches placement is nearly zero percent. From my class only four candidates are placed. For software companies T and P cell don't allow core branches students.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and environment.

Placements: About 20% placements are offered in civil branch. The highest package offered from the last six years is 6.5 LPA, and the average package is of 3.5 LPA. For civil, companies like TCS, Hassan Al Jumma, Reliance, ACC Cement visit the campus for placements. There is a good placement cell for placement and training activities.

It is a nice college, but placements are less.

Placements: Placements are average. This year, the placement ratio is average. I don't know the reason, but many of our students are unemployed. The college is trying to pull out this problem. Many of our students are placed in companies like TCS and Cognizant. I wish more companies visit the college because many of our talented students are unplaced.

A good college in Amaravati region.

Placements: By observing the placements statistics of the college, IT (information technology) is having the highest placements in campus recruitment, with 45 MNCs giving a minimum package of 3 LPA to a maximum of 8 LPA. Next is computer science and electronics and telecommunications almost having a chair in every company visiting the college, the package is same for these branches. However, other branches including electrical, mechanical, civil, etc. do not play a major role in placements of campus. The co...

This is a government college with the autonomous status, so it is good for students

Placements: This college has good placement records since 1992. Now every year, 10-12 students get selected in Bajaj and other good companies. The minimum average package offered to the students is 3 lakhs. This college has maintained the placement record since its establishment and all the branches have good placement records.
