Review of Government College of Engineering and Research, Avasari.

Faculty: College follows a structured academic syllabus based on the guidelines of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Courses emphasize theoretical knowledge, practical applications, and hands-on experience through lab work, projects, and industrial visits. Departments such as Mechanical, Civil, Computer Science, and Instrumentation regularly update their curriculum to keep pace with technological advancements. College offers a well-structured academic schedule with timely lectures, practical sessions, an...

GCOEARA : student respective.

Faculty: The student-faculty ratio is not so good. Very few permanent faculty members are present; most of the faculty are visiting. Again, it varies according to branches, and exams are held under SPPU University. There are two exams per semester: one is in the insem, and then the endsem. Exams are conducted in a very strict environment.

All about government college Pune .

Faculty: Most of the teachers are IIT graduates and Ph.D. holders. Mainly, our ENTC faculty members are very supportive compared to other branches. As our college is under SPPU, the university course curriculum is somehow outdated. There are a total 8 semesters; each semester has two exams, Insem and Endsem.

Dissatisfied because of placement of the college. It has good infrastructure, facilities etc.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was very supportive and encouraging. The course syllabus was given SPPU, so there are drawbacks, but well and good. The exam was strictly conducted according to the rules provided by SPPU. The difficulty was that 70–80% of the exam staff were very strict about the exam.

Overall, a good college. I can recommend you this college because the fees is really less.

Faculty: Experienced faculty members. Semester exams are arranged by Savitribai phule University which is the best university. Overall curriculum of college is designed by SPPU. We have mid-semester exams and then semester exams. Teachers guide us from time to time about how to attempt the exams efficiently.

Opt for this college only if you want studies. Placements are good but the crowd is not like in Pune

Faculty: Teachers are brilliant and educated with the highest degree. They are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. Extra curriculum activities are held in our college by students. College is not helping much in that. Exams are tough though, but the passing percentage may be greater than 90%.

It's a great college with great campus life, great infrastructure and great teachers and students.

Faculty: Excellent, experienced and highly qualified faculty members are available in our college. The teaching quality is great. Exams are conducted by the university, and in-semester exams are conducted by the college. Practical knowledge is also given, which leads to students being ready for industrial life.

Opt this college if you are ready to do self-studies. Otherwise, prefer any other college.

Faculty: All the teachers are very highly qualified for mechanical stream. Quality of teaching is very good. Syllabus doesn not make you ready for industry. You have to do at your own. Semesters are not much difficult if you study well and refer earlier exam papers. Almost 85% of the students pass without backlogs.

I am satisfied with the location, hostel, mess and fee.

Faculty: Our college is not that old, but it has very good faculty members. Most of the faculty members are well-qualified with a doctorate degree. Some of the faculty members are doing research and also had published some research papers. Our college curriculum is based on university timetable.

Our College is the best in case of campus beauty and nature.

Faculty: Teachers here are very supportive. Our HOD was very supportive, and he was a very nice person. Quality of the teaching was good. Any engineering curriculum has no industry-based syllabus. Only the theoretical concepts and some basic programs covered but not practical projects.
