No placement but the hostel is good .
Placements: 1 percent only (1 in 100) gets placed; in fact, the civil branch on campus has no placement. One of my seniors only got placed on a package of INR 3.5 to 4 lacs. No internship facilities are there. There is simply no placement for civil in this college. Tech Mahindra offers jobs to electrical students.
Infrastructure: The library is not that good but okay, we can say. Classrooms are not bad, and the lab is also in okay condition. The hostel is too good; we can stay in 1 room with 2 people, with 2 study tables, 2 beds and a separate locker. The water cooler and theater are there. In short, hostels are good Gym facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive and helpful. Some teachers are there, but there are not many things you have to do by yourself. Not that many students are ready for industry. 40% is the passing rate for each subject. Two semesters, two sessionals, and class tests are also conducted.
Other: I love this branch so I took civil. Practical site visits and internships are offered. Events are average. The campus crowd is good; the campus is good.

I am satisfied with the college because of low fees and excellent staff.
Placements: College provides placements but not for core branches if you are from IT or CS. Other branches are not very helpful to get placed. They organise various curriculum for future guidance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average but has excellent facilities. They are constructing more buildings for better facilities. There are average hostels for girls and boys. College has an average library, canteen, and medical facilities. There is a big auditorium in which they organise various events.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified. The course curriculum is relevant if you are preparing for GATE or other competitive exams. They organise events for career guidance. Semesters are not much difficult. An average student can score good marks.
Other: College fee is low.

It is a government institute which provides good quality education at a low price.
Placements: Nearly 30% of total students who were attended campus selection got placements. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The top recruiting company here was Elevate. Nearly 20% of total students got internships from our course in few civil engineering companies. Top roles offered would be an internship, a supervisor and an architect.
Infrastructure: The building of our stream is located in the main area of the campus. There is a 2-storeyed really huge college building. It has various labs, a library, washrooms, theory rooms and corners. There is Wi-Fi in the library area to study online. There are two hostels for boys and girls separately, which are in far proximity. The quality of the hostel could be rated as really good, and it has every basic thing. The food served in the mess is really delicious and tasty, and I loved it. There are good medical facilities. There is also a sports ground in the main area for students to play.
Faculty: The teachers here were well experienced. They taught us in a very natural way, and I'm really blessed to get taught by them. They are the best and really involved with students. The course is relevant to the curriculum. It makes students ready to face the technological and professional problems in civil engineering.
Other: I always wanted to become a civil engineer, so I chose this course. An event named Abhirang is organised every year in the month of December, and it has a very exciting atmosphere. Everything is just very lively and enjoyable in that event. Staff members and students spend time together. Teachers interact with the students in various games about their personal life. Everyone enjoys the month of December. Few scholarships are offered by the government for meritorious students who are from both reserved classes and EWS.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur.
Placements: Around 10% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary package offered ranges from 2.4 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Capgemini, and Ballarpur Paper Industries visit our campus for recruitment. Around 40% of the students got internships from college. Roles offered were as a technical engineer, civil engineer, site engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, instrumentation engineer, and electronic engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. There was a well-equipped laboratory, good green campus life, a well-developed hostel, and the mess available at each hostel. There were separate hostels and clubs for boys and girls. We had annual games, events, medical facilities on call, well-equipped grounds, and decent parking space.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and toppers. They were well-knowledgeable and had an approachable attitude. Many extra-curricular activities like software development courses and skills improvement courses and different competitions amongst colleges were organised.

Government College of Engineering, Chandrapur is best in its way.
Placements: The college does not provide placements for civil engineering students. Companies do not visit our campus for placements. Students are trying their best for better placements. But as there is no option, so they have to try in other colleges for placement or for competitive exam.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility for 1st and 2nd-year students. The library does not contain stocks of books as needed. Every year new stock books are available, but they do not distribute in students. Classrooms are average, but benches should be proper in my opinion.
Faculty: There are only 2-3 permanent teachers in the civil department. They also remain busy in their outer work. But they have provided the temporary teaching staff members who were just average. Some teachers give their best.
Other: Events organised at our college are good.
