I am satisfied with all my expectations.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed. This was not in the corona period. It was before corona. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA which some IT companies offer. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. It was quite minimum but it was okay for the mechanical branch. JSW and many other companies like Ashok Leyland, and so on were the top recruiters. The major role offered was an assistant professor in any college.

Government College of engineering is good.

Placements: Nearly 60 percent of students got placement in core and software companies. Maximum salary is 40k in my batch and minimum is 15k in my batch. Larcen, Turbo and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. Roles offered is of Design Engineer at Larsen and turbo company. The highest salary is 40k, the lowest is 12k, average is 20k in my batch students. No one went for internship in my batch because all did projects inside campus during last semester.

Absolutely satisfied because of campus and faculty.

Placements: In GCE, there are many placement opportunities in the software field. Especially students belonging to CSE and ECE get jobs easily in the IT sector. For civil engineering, Larson and Turbo company comes here. For research, we have a separate cell.

If you want to join BE course at a low price in a popular college, you should join GCE Salem.

Placements: Around 50% of students from our course got placed in various firms. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 2 LPA-3 LPA. URC Construction and Aquagreen Pvt Ltd are the top recruiting companies of our course. Most of the students opted for internships.

There is value for money, but recently, the placement percentage is low.

Placements: The percent of students who get placements depends on the branch of engineering. From the metallurgy department, there are 100% placements. In circuit branches, the placement rate is around 80%-90%. From the core branches, only 50%-60% of students get placed. Top recruiting companies are available only for circuit branches. The highest salary package offered for a software developer role is around 7 LPA-9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered for a site engineer is around 1.5 LPA-2 LPA.

Our college is very beautiful, but the hostel and food provided are average.

Placements: The metallurgy department has a good placement record in our college, and metallurgist has less competition than any other fields. Every metallurgy subject is very interesting. The alumni network of our college is great, which helps us in our career growth. I suggest students to check the course curriculum, placements and fee details of Government College of Engineering [GCE], Salem on the college website. Students of our college got placed in Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Zoho, Bharat Forge in Pune, Tit...

I satisfied with choosing this college.

Placements: In our college, departments like CSE, ECE and Metallurgy are given 100% placements, and departments like mechanical and civil are given almost 75% placements every year. Companies like Zoho and Accenture visit our college every year, and they provide appointments for many students.

Our college has a really very good infrastructure.

Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The salary offered varies from Rs. 10,000 to 30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are Aquagreen and Accenture. Almost 100% of the students got internships in NHAI. I recommend all the intermediate students to study in this college to get the placements and get trained in a very good manner.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Salem.

Placements: Placements are so far average, but still, the college management takes the initiative to provide more placement opportunities through core companies instead of the call centre and the insurance companies. Certainly number of students placed in the core companies is less.

A good college for the students who want to gain knowledge.

Placements: Students of our senior batch got placed in companies like Zoho, Accenture, TCS, and CTS, etc. Most of the students from our batch got placed in well-reputed companies. Almost 80% of the students were placed from our senior batch. The management is still inviting a lot of companies to the campus for placements. I'm sure that the college achieves the 100% placement record. The placement record of our college is 100% for 7 consecutive academic years.

Our college is the best compared to all other government engineering colleges.

Placements: Placements for our batch are very good but our senior batch placements were hardly good because of the number of placements in electronics and communication branch is increasing now. So we are happy with the placements of our batch. Around 50% of students from our branch got placed.

We are the Nagpur engineers.

Placements: Most of the senior batch students got placements in good companies through campus placements. They got selected with good packages and are happy with them. Every year, various companies come for campus placements and take the best from here. They even take care of the mediocre level students.

Government College of Engineering, Salem -review.

Placements: I got placed in an MNC named Caparo Engineering India LTD, Chennai. There are lot more companies to recruit the students from this college. Many IT companies also hire the students from this college. Basically, the students from this college have some extra knowledge other than the subject knowledge. So, they can easily get placed in more than one company and can choose a company from one of them to work.
