Placements: GCE Salem has a great placement record. During the last placement season, major stalwarts including Accenture, TITAN, ARCADIA, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Siemens visited campus. The highest package was 7 lakh per annum, while the average package was around 3.5 lakh per annum. The placement cell is quite active and provides students with large-scale training and preparation for interviews.

Placements: Government College Of Engineering, Salem has a very good track record when it comes to placement rate. About 90% to 95% of students are admitted to top-ranking institutions. The highest offer for on-campus interviews is 30 LPA with an average of 15 LPA. The minimum package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Energy, TVS Motor, etc. Top roles are Thermal safety officer, Thermal design engineer and so on.

Placements: The placement is now average. About 50% of the students only got placed in my course at my college. The highest salary package offered in my course is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. 20% of the students got internships from my course at companies like Infinion and Teach Red Ltd.

Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed through campus placements; the rest were not enrolled for placement as they planned for higher education. The highest package stood at 14 LPA from Ford, while the lowest was 3 LPA from Aquagreen with a three-year bond. Most of the companies offered Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) roles, and some were ready to offer associate-level roles. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, JSW, Tekla Structure, and Nissan played a major role in our placements.

Placements: So yes, I am writing this review in May 2024, so our batch placements are going to start in July 2024 and so here I am going to share my senior placement records I know something better about placement because I am volunteering myself as a student placement coordinator. Placements: The placement in this year is very poor everywhere. Even the placement drive has only a limited number of companies. Most of the companies are startups and they offer a very low salary package. The top recruiting companies this year are Infosys and Cognizant. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Last year, the placement drive was really good and we are hoping to get a better placement drive next year.
