Great placements and learning, but labs and projects could improve.
Placements: 85% of students got jobs, with the highest salary at ₹7.5 LPA (Texas Instruments) and the lowest salary at ₹1.5 LPA, resulting in an average salary of ₹4 LPA. Top companies include Zoho, TCS, Jeman, and Hyundai. About 75% of students secured internships, with top internship companies like BSNL, Zoho, and TCS. The most common job roles are Embedded Systems Engineer, VLSI Design Engineer, Telecommunication Engineer, and Network Engineer.
Infrastructure: The entire campus, including the ECE department, has good Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing students to access online resources easily. The ECE department features well-equipped labs for electronics, communication, VLSI, and embedded systems. The labs are modern and have the necessary equipment for practical learning. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and smart boards, and are well-maintained for effective learning. The library boasts a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, and research papers related to ECE, along with digital resources for students. Hostel facilities include comfortable rooms that are cleaned regularly, usually accommodating 2-3 students per room. The mess serves a variety of food that is decent in quality; it's simple but nutritious. The canteen also offers snacks and fast food at reasonable prices. A medical center on campus is available for basic medical needs, and in case of emergencies, there are tie-ups with nearby hospitals. The campus has a sports ground and facilities for indoor games like badminton, table tennis, and chess, along with a gym and spaces for outdoor sports like cricket, football, and basketball.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified, making them approachable for assistance. The teaching strikes a balance between theory and practical work. The curriculum is up-to-date with industry needs, covering essential topics and practical work to prepare students for jobs in electronics and communication fields. The exams are manageable if you study regularly, including both theory and practical questions, with about 85-90% of students passing if they work steadily.
Other: I chose ECE because it teaches both electronics and software, offering many job options. The best aspects of the course include a wide range of subjects like electronics and coding, practical labs that aid learning, and strong job preparation. Areas for improvement include incorporating more real-world projects and updating labs, as well as offering more elective choices. The campus life is vibrant, with fun events and festivals, and a friendly environment that is easy to navigate, featuring peaceful surroundings and nearby cafes. There are scholarships available and plenty of activities, including sports and music, to enjoy outside of studies.

Good placement opportunities and decent infrastructure with scope for improvement.
Placements: I am currently in the 3rd year of BE ECE at GCE-TLY. In our course, around 70-80% of students were placed in the last batch. The highest package offered was around 8 LPA, while the lowest was 2.5 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Zoho.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the ECE department is well-equipped with decent labs, classrooms, and a comprehensive library. The hostel facilities are decent with spacious rooms and good ventilation. The quality of food in the mess is average, and there’s a canteen available.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most of them hold PhDs and have significant teaching experience. The curriculum is industry-relevant, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects. Exams are sometimes very challenging, with a minimum pass percentage of 45%.
Other: The campus life is vibrant, with students from diverse backgrounds. Various events and fests, like the annual cultural fest and teach fest, add to the excitement.

What you need to know before choosing this college.
Placements: The placement rate is very low, less than 50%. The highest package was 6 LPA, the average was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 1 LPA. But still, there are some top companies like Zoho that come for placements. 100% of every student will attend their internships. The companies hire students with high knowledge, and the roles offered are based on their knowledge. They may get into higher posts easily if they are so talented.
Infrastructure: The lab facilities are good, and there are enough computers. But every student doesn't get Wi-Fi access. The library has almost every book. Classrooms are spacious, but the availability of fans is less. The hostel is good. Food quality is above average, but the rotation of the food every week is the same. There is a available first aid kit in the hostel and every lab.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average, and the staff is not so helpful. We students don't get enough knowledge about our industry and the other jobs related to us. The toughness of the exams oscillates; sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's hard. But the pass percentage is high.
Other: Actually, this course was trending when I chose it. It was said the job availability will be high during the pass-out year 2026. So I chose this course. The course is good, but the teachers can't make us feel easy. The quality must be improved on our campus. There will be no festival celebrations, but there will be symposiums and culturals that too will happen rarely. Sports is a bit good. We are open to every tournament. Every student is provided with a scholarship, and the process is easy.

Strong industry-ready curriculum, excellent placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students in this course were placed with a salary package of 1.5 LPA - 10 LPA. The average salary package of 3 LPA. Top recruiters include Infoview and Data Pattern offering roles such as software developer, chip designer, and analyst. About 85% of students secure internships at companies like BSNL and local companies.
Infrastructure: The department provides modern facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi, fully-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a library with access to numerous academic journals. Hostel rooms are comfortable, with good maintenance, Wi-Fi access, and study areas in common space. The mess offers a variety of nutritious meals. The canteen has snacks and beverages, though food quality can vary occasionally. A well-equipped medical center with 24/7 assistance ensures prompt healthcare for students. The campus has excellent sports facilities, including grounds for football, cricket, and tennis. There are indoor courts for badminton and table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable. They offer valuable guidance both inside and outside the classroom. The teaching quality is generally excellent with a good mix of theoretical and practical approaches. The curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to meet industry standards, equipping students with relevant skills and making them industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging. They are designed to test understanding rather than written learning, with a high pass percentage of around 85-90% due to supportive faculty and resources.
Other: I chose this course because of its strong focus on both theoretical foundation and practical skills, which are essential for a career in this field. The best aspects of the course include hands-on lab sessions, supportive faculty, and an industry-aligned curriculum that prepares students for real-world challenges. Improvements I would like to see include more elective options for specialized topics and additional industry collaborations for internships and projects. The campus hosts a variety of events and festivals throughout the year, creating a vibrant and engaging environment. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly with excellent connectivity to nearby cities and a scenic, green campus. Scholarship opportunities are available for meritorious and financially needed students. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities, from sports clubs to cultural societies, fostering a well-rounded student life.

College was good before corona, but after corona placements are down .
Placements: 50–60% of students are placed in big companies or small companies. Less companies are coming like Zoho and other small companies. 30% of students got internships. All students are not placed in this department. If students try on their own, the 80 percent students get placed .
Infrastructure: Labs are good to study. The faculty members are average, and you have to gain knowledge and study yourself. Hostels are good; hostel food is average. Sports and games are good in this college. Medical facilities are not good. Mess is average because maintenance is not good
Faculty: If you are interested in your study, you develop your skill and knowledge. This course make students ready for high opportunity in this course Semester exams are difficult, but if you study well, you get a pass mark if any are easy to pass and get good marks.
Other: If my course has a lot of job offers.
