Good college, Good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements at this college are mediocre. Last year, about 17 students out of 100 were placed. But the impact of the pandemic might be to blame for this. The civil engineering department had 50% of placements prior to the lockout. Five LPA is the biggest compensation package available. The lowest wage package available is 1.5 LPA, with 3.5 LPA being the average. The majority of students land internships. TCS and a few regional construction firms are the businesses giving internships.

The college has very good teaching and placement results, but the infrastructure is poor.

Placements: Generally, CSE and IT department students have 100% placements. In the previous placements, the highest salary package offered was 28 LPA. IBM, TCS, Infosys, Google and Microsoft are few companies which are recruiting students from our college. Many students are recruited in a software development role.

The best college providing enough facilities for poor and middle-class students.

Placements: 65% of the students get placed, and the remaining 35% of the students opt for higher studies and entrepreneurship. IT companies like Zoho and TCS visit the college to hire students in the campus placements. Core companies like Tafe, Hyundai, VKC, Titan, and other companies also visit the college. 10% of the students go for internships in top MNCs. The placement cell is quite efficient in developing communication between students and companies.

Good college where you can grow by yourself. Good placements. Very much less college fees.

Placements: Placements were very good. Since GCT is a dote-1 college in Tamilnadu engineering counselling, most of the top MNC's like TCS, ZOHO, PAYODA, etc. Arrive to campus earlier than most of the colleges in Tamilnadu. It begins in early September in which 60-70% of the stduents get placed. Core companies placements are very prominent in final semester.

The college is good. No encouragement or discouragement.

Placements: Many companies recruited about 80% candidates from my department, but in software and MNCs. None were placed using instrumentation knowledge but with electronics knowledge. Core industries like Bosch didn't have openings for us though we are equally skilled as EEE students.

Good college with its own flaws.

Placements: The placement statistics stand around 60% which is pretty good considering this as a government institution. The highest packages are often offered by IT companies such as PayPal. There is a handful of IT and core related companies visiting the campus too. Regarding placements, the students will get the opportunity but the chance of getting placed lies in the hands of the students.
