True Beauty of GEC Barton Hill.

Faculty: The teachers and other faculty members are really supportive of anything you want to do in the college, whether it may be technical or non-technical, especially the IT department faculty. If we consider pass percentage, our IT department has the highest pass percentage in KTU.

A good government college that is well accessible and in the heart of the city.

Faculty: Most of the faculty were really helpful and completed the entire syllabus; if they couldn't, it was because of the shorter duration of semesters in academic calendars beyond their control. The curriculum is almost relevant, and semester exams are moderate to easy most of the time.

College facilities and management.

Faculty: We have effecient teachers and well-qualified faculty. Labs are clean and all safety measures are taken while conducting experiments. Pass percentage for semester exams is around 67%-75%. Bad quality in evaluating semester exams and evaluation is not done properly.

A quiet campus tucked away in the heart of Trivandrum city.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and teach effectively. The syllabus taught is as per the KTU regulations. The relevance of the course taught is debatable. However, there are many positive parts of the curriculum. The exams are conducted all over Kerala and are relatively difficult.

A small college but a good one

Faculty: The teachers in the IT department are so helpful and polite, and all of them are qualified professors and three guest lecturers. Some of the teachers are well-trained to guide us in the right direction, and some of them are just going through the syllabus. The curriculum or syllabus is good, but it is so far from the real world. We can do internships to make a bridge. The semester exams are handled by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. We have to get 40 out of 100 to pass the exam, bu...

If you are looking for good friends and academics, this will be a good choice.

Faculty: Qualified faculty, but they are not interested in teaching. Only self-study will help you. A good peer group is available, so it will be helpful. The syllabus is not a big task; previous year's questions, the KTU notes website, and seniors will help you get good marks.

Small college in terms of area, big in terms of vibe.

Faculty: Many teachers are Ph.D. and M.Tech graduates from various IIT's and NIT's. Their teaching knowledge is very good. Since 2019 course curriculum has been updated and new subjects required for the industry are added. Curriculum is very relevant, it makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are not that hard, with apt knowledge of the subject one can easily pass the exams.

It is a college with a small campus, but it has great faculty members and placements.

Faculty: Every semester, we have 2 internal series exams of 50 marks each. The internal marks are uploaded to KTU site. The series exam marks are rounded to 12.5 each, and 10 marks are for attendance. 15 marks are for assignments. KTU conducts exams. 40% is the pass percentage.

The infrastructure is quite good. Students are getting good placements.

Faculty: Teachers in all departments are excellent. Most of them have Ph.D.s and are quite specialised in their subject fields. Classes are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but teachers offer remedial classes for students who find it difficult to learn.
