Review of Government Engineering College, Bharuch.

Placements: The placement cell of GEC Bharuch is active. Few initiatives are taken by the club that I find different from other colleges. The basic knowledge required for a job is provided to the students which enhances their perspective. The placement cell has provided placements to a lot of people over the last few years.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and college. Placements and facilities are good.

Placements: Placements are quite well compared to other colleges in this zone. Mostly, all the students give the open campus exam conducted by big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. Some of the students get selected as well. Nearly 4 to 5% of the students get selected in open campus recruitment. There are big job fairs also held in our college by the government. Different companies participate in the job fair, and many students get placed too. The salary packages offered for the students were not much ...

The college has a really good infrastructure, faculty and facilities during my tenure.

Placements: Overall the placement rate of the college is almost 40-50%. Many companies like GNFC, GACL, GFL, Petro Net LNG, etc., visited the campus for placements. The salary packages offered by those companies were good, and about 2.5 LPA at our time. Starting role with a GET, later on, an engineering post or shift in-charge post.

It's a good platform if you want to learn engineering from the government college.

Placements: The placement ratio of our college is not such high as our college comes in the chemical zone (zone 5). Placements in the chemical department are the best because all interested students can get job opportunities. Even in other departments like an electrical department, placements are good but not high. Companies visit the campus for recruitment and recruit less than 3 to 5 fresher students.

Great college for EC and chemical students.

Placements: Placement is dependent on student skill and performance. Aptitude level also required for the placement. Here placement is available but students have their best in interview. Attitude or disciplinary behaviour is important in this type of interview.

I am dissatisfied with some faculty members as they discourage students and are partial.

Placements: Placements are provided in college, but it is unpredictable how many companies will visit to recruit EC engineers. There is a very good scope for electrical and chemical engineers as many MNCs visit to recruit students from these branches. Many students from our branch go for off-campus recruitment in companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. There is a job fair conducted for the final year students every year, but only government college students are eligible for it. No private college students are all...

It is a good college, and the faculty members available here are good.

Placements: The college provides placement opportunities. But they conduct training sessions before the placement drives. These training sessions help the students to get placed in the private sector. These training sessions need to be improved so that students can get more benefit. Placements in the electronics and communication department are almost negligible, but the placement rates are good at times.

The college is above average in every aspect, but the facilities provided are not good.

Placements: Placements in the college are bad. There is no placement cell in the college. Due to lack of communication skills and commitment, the companies don't select students. However, students can easily score good placements if they have good soft skills and have accomplished more than just their grades. Internships also have the same situation wherein the lack of a good student crowd messes up the equilibrium.

Value for money kind of college.

Placements: Even though my batch is yet to finish its course, the placements of my seniors were decent. With all the recession around in the nation, almost all of them managed to bag a package of 2.5 to 3 lacs per annum. The highest one being 4.4 LPA. The main advantage being its location. As Bharuch is an industrial hub, a lot of small and medium scale companies come here to recruit the students. There is a dedicated placements cell too.

The college has the good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. About, 70% of the students got placed every year. Talking about the package, it is about 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. Frankly speaking, you need to go for the internship by yourself. The stipend varies from company to company, and some give about 5K to 6K. You can search on many websites about the internship. There is a placement cell in the college.

GEC Bharuch is a very good college with highly experienced faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were not good. Only one company has visited the campus and selected just a single student. The companies usually refrain from coming to the college and, even when they arrive, they offer a small package of Rs. 8,000 per month. This is a very big downfall for the college which can be overcome by a little extra effort from the placement committee.

It is a good place to gain knowledge.

Placements: The recruiting companies are Reliance, Adani, and many more. Every department students have to do mandatory internships. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the minimum salary package is 2.4 LPA.

A college with good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: Placements provided here are average. Around 50% of students were placed in 2021. The college makes students job-ready. Many top companies, like TCS and Byju's came to our college. The training that is given by the organisation is also good in most of the terms.

Good college and good faculty in the campus. Machinery is available in the campus.

Placements: This college provides the best quality of placements. 80% of students were placed every year. The salary package depends upon the qualifications of the students. The maximum salary package is 6-7 Lac per annum and the average salary is 2-3 Lac per annum. So, at last, there are good placements in this college.

Faculty members were very supportive and helped them in every project.

Placements: About 55% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.8 LPA, and the average salary package offered was almost 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Infosys and L&T. Electrical engineering employees were much in the course.

A college which make you an engineer.

Placements: Talking about placements. Our seniors told us that companies from local Areas come and offer students the job. Scholar students, nearly 3 -4 students from each department get the job offer. For chemical department placement is better than other branches.

Prime college to take admission in South Gujarat for engineering.

Placements: The placement is decent here as it enjoys a prime location benefit because it is surrounded by the two GIDC areas Ankleshwar and Dahej also some reputed industries like L & T, GACL, GNGC are regular recruiters here so placement wise it is good college in south Gujarat.

College is good for studies, specially for high scored student whose economic condition is poor.

Placements: Every year for the students of last year, there is job fair in our college. Few student with high grade get job. Mostly companies which are located near to college come for placement. But the salary of this placed job is quit disappointing. It is in the range of 1.5 to 3 Lacs per annum.
