Placements: Our branch was the best. Students who admission are talent and good marks in intermediate. There were no placements offered by the college. However, the college environment is very good and peaceful. Suzlon and other private companies recruit the students. The supervisor is the role offered to students. They don't offer a high salary package, but the starting salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 8000 per month. Almost 25% of the students got an internship.
Placements: Placements of GEC Bhuj can be estimated as of average level. Around 50 - 60 percentage of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered was. 4.20 Lacs per year ( mechanical branch). Some Local And Some Good Companies like BK Tyres, Welspun etc. have Provided or offered placement to GEC Bhuj Students.
Placements: GEC Bhuj is good College no doubt but placements are not much good. Talking about proper mechanical branch, average package was around 2.5 lac per annum. But 10 students were placed from mechanical with 35000 per month salary. Not much Companies are coming in the placement programme. So I personally suggest that more companies should be invited for Placements by TPO.
Placements: The facility of placement is available in my college. In my batch there is no placement but in my senior batch 3-4 companies comes for placements. The minimum CPI is about 6.2 to 6.5 to appear in interview for placement. The salary range is about 15k to 25k.
Placements: Placements are a good reason to be here because the chances of getting placements are very high. Here, students are well-trained. Students will enjoy being a part of this college. The salary offered to placed students was average. Many companies visit the college to hire the students.
Placements: The placement procedure of this college is not as good as it seems to be, but 3 to 5 companies visit the college every year for the placement process. The most problematic thing is that Bhuj is situated in a desert area, so most of the companies suppose that there is a lack of talent among students.
Placements: Placements were really low with low packages. I actually don't remember the companies that visited our college. Chances of getting placements are really less. Even the eligible students are not getting placements and have to find jobs on their own.
Placements: The companies such as Welsper, Anchor, Ashapura, etc., visit the campus for the placements to the students. The highest paid salary for any student is about Rs. 20,000 per month. The role offered to a student is of an assistant engineer The placement in the college is occasional, but not in every year, but it is there for the students. There is a placement cell, but it is not efficient.
Placements: The placements for my batch and any other batches, I think it is 0%. There were no placements in last two years. Maybe sometimes, very few companies come for placements. Very fewer placements are there in the government engineering college, Bhuj than any other colleges. No placements in GEC, Bhuj.
Placements: Only the mining engineering get the placements here. There is no chance of other branches getting the placement. Here, the mechanical engineering department also does not get the campus interview. Students are placed here, but no core company visits here, so if anyone wants to join this college then that person should be careful about it.
Placements: Only three companies visit the college during placements, and also the salary packages are very downgraded. If you are looking for the good placements then this college should not be your choice. There is no industrial area nearby, but there are lots of industries in Gandhidham, Mundra and near outskirts of Bhuj city.
Placements: There are more than 4-5 companies that are coming from different cities, and they have arranged a mock test and aptitude exam. They are offering 3 LPA to 4 LPA package based on the test and interview which are conducted in the college. The companies that visit are Vadani, Ashapura Chemical, etc.
Placements: Only higher ranking students get selected to attend the campus placements. Campus interviews and placements are not provided. College placements were worst. You can find some company and represent the college for the job; you can get response and support from the college. Finding employment is our responsibility, and we need to fight with millions of applicants.
Placements: Talking about the placement, we do not have much placements as the companies mostly prefer private colleges first. So, we have very less scope for placements. We hope for a better importance in the placement sector in our college. Also, there are no internship facilities provided. Henceforth, these are the two issues which need to be resolved.
Placements: Placements were held for the 2017 graduating batch in most of the branches like chemical, civil, mechanical, mining, EC and electrical. Many students also got off-campus placements within two months of graduation. Companies like Adani Solar Pvt. Ltd., Ashapura Perfoclay Ltd., Network Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Larsen & Toubro, etc. held the placement drives. Around 15-20% students got placed with the highest salary being Rs. 3.25 lpa (Adani- chemical). The lowest salary offered was around Rs. 1.5 l...
Placements: No placement for our batch. In mining branch, placement was arranged only for the first batch. About 10% students were placed. Other branches like electrical, mechanical get placement every year. Top level companies come for their placement.
Placements: In our college 70% students were placed in my course. Packages are depend on company and students. GPCB, privet company are the top recruiting companies in other branch like civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering.
Placements: Mechanical engineering was preferred most among all other branches as the college consists of more number of doctorates and highly experienced ones compared to other branches. The mechanical branch also has a good number of laboratories when compared to another.
Placements: Our senior gets placement in infochip company Many students get chances for placement If they have talent then they have more chances to select in placement I think salary offered is about 20,000 to 25,000 per month Who wants can get the internship from college using noc I don't know about placement cell.
