GEC Palamu: An overview whether you should opt or not.
Placements: No placements have been done yet. However, internship opportunities are quite good, and third-year seniors have had the opportunity to work as interns at well-known companies like TCS.
Infrastructure: The classrooms at this college are spacious and well-maintained. The hostel rooms are also well-maintained, and each room accommodates three students. The hostel rooms are fully furnished. Students enjoy playing sports like cricket, volleyball, and football. In January, a cricket tournament is held among the four branches.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable, and many have done their Ph.D. from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is relevant, and from the very beginning we learn about basic engineering mechanisms that provide a solid foundation for our studies.
Other: I chose this college because I had an interest in the electrical engineering field from the start. Events are not held regularly, but do occur once every six months. The food is quite good, and the college is close to all possible transportation facilities. The vicinity around the college is also peaceful. Scholarships are given to students who have a weak financial background.

Detailed review of GEC palamu .
Placements: The college is very new, so there is no placement scene for now. Students will have to look outside for job and internship opportunities. Don’t expect any help from the college or anybody else. Rely on yourself and work hard, and you will get good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good because it is recently made, and all the classrooms are also very good. Teachers take classes in seminar halls, which are fully air-conditioned. The library is very small and has a very limited number of books and articles.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and experienced. All have deep and thorough knowledge of their subjects and are helpful in nature. The syllabus is outdated, but JUT is adding new subjects to cope with this problem. The semester exams are of moderate level.

Placements: The college is new and so no batch has graduated yet. The placements scene is very uncertain as no batch has graduated till now. So nothing could be said about the placements. The training and placements cell is also very inactive. The students will have to rely on themselves to grab job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good as the college is new. The classrooms are all well-equipped with classes being taken in seminar halls which are fully air conditioned. There are 2 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The hostel is good with 24/7 electricity and water supply. The mess food quality is below average.
Faculty: The teachers are all well qualified and all the subjects are taught very well in the college. If a student pays good attention in the classes and is regular, he can do very well in the examinations. The curriculum is a little outdated but new subjects have been added to keep it relevant.
Other: There is no social life here as the college is situated in a rural area. The college clubs are almost non existent.

Review of Government Engineering College, Palamu.
Placements: As you know, this is the new college that was started in 2022. Therefore, there are no records of the placement of the college. But it has been said by the principal that all the students will be sent to the BIT Sindri College for placement and from there all the students will get placed
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The hostel fee is 9500 per year. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. The room is available with 3 beds, tables, 3 chairs, and 3 cupboards for 3 students. Water and electricity are available 24 hours a day. The Mess fee is 3900 per month. The quality of the meal is not too good as compared to the charge students pay.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very supportive. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the teachers is good. The teacher teaches the topic in an easy-to-understand way. Yes, semester exams are a little bit difficult.

No Placement states. Government. College. Infra Good. EE lab good no hostel for 2025 batch.
Placements: As College is New, First Batch 22-26. So we have no any placement States. But Many Seniors Got Internship. For electrical labs are top notch. There is no Link with BIT sindri only teachers are from BIT Sindri. So Do Not think Bit Sindri help in placement. Placement will from the college itself. There are chances to get campus placement for Deserving Student.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in Only College Building. No Wi-Fi in hostel. Library is available but in limited time slots, close in 4:30 pm in working days only? Classroom are good equipped with AC. Mess is always mess. Sports facility are below avg. No Big Ground for cricket. Plus point is we got 24?7 Electricity and water supply in hostel. But wait there is no any seat left in hostel for 2025 student. They have to stay in PG. For which they have to struggle as maximum room in locality are occupied. IIT level lab for EE.
Faculty: Good curriculum Same as BIT Sindri. From JUT- Jharkhand university of technology. We have study Biology BEE, Mathematics Physics Indian Knowledge System, Data visualisation and pre processing in 1st sem. For which some faculty are in private basis but other are government. Professor.
Other: I choose electrical. Because I didn't get CSE. NIT level lab for EE. In recent Freshers part for 23-27 student happened. There is Various scholarship ex-e kalyan. Connectivity 13 km from Daltonganj Station. Surrounding are full of Crop fields.

GEC palamu : Should you opt!
Placements: As the college is opened in 2022, there is no placement scene here. But according tothe college, companies will do visit our college for recruitment. Also I think that college is also trying its level best to make our seniors well trained and make them eligible for the recruitment.
Infrastructure: Speaking about the faculty members, all are quite good, all have done there phds from well reputed institute in india like IITs and NITs. Also I want to add one more point to this is that most of the faculty members here are transferred from BIT SINDRI. Talking about the infrastructure as the college is new all the stuff are well maintained, hostels are spacious, 3 students live in one room, the mess food is like average not so good, sports like cricket, volleyball, football also happens here.
Faculty: Teacher here are very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable
The course which I had chosen I. e. electrical engineering is relevant to me as starting from the 1st semester, we are being taught BEE which is very relevant to us. The semester exams here are moderate difficult.
Other: The best thing about the college is that you get enough freedom to move anywhere
The events occurring is here not so often means once in 6 months. Also this college is on road so well connected with all means of transportation (road and railway). .
