I am satisfied with the infrastructure of GEC but placements are not good.
Placements: About 30% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA – 9 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA - 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Reliance Jio, etc. Around 35-40% of students get internships in companies like Deep Vision System, etc. Software engineer roles are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs, and the library of GEC Raipur are good. Wi-Fi is also available on campus and all classes are air-conditioned. The hostel is not allotted to students yet. The quality of food served in the canteen is good. The prices of food items are not too expensive and the taste is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable and qualified. They are selected through exams. They are helpful for students with clearing their doubts. The course curriculum is not so relevant and we have to study beyond that to become industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate and the pass percentage is the same as any other college.

The review of Government Engineering College.
Placements: Our senior has got good placements on the campus. Most of the students opted to attend the placements while the others wanted to do a master degree in a particular subject, but the students who attended for an interview got jobs in their hands.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are well-developed, and the labs have enough facilities so that every student can practice in the lab. The library has almost every book of the subject including the reference books. The facilities related to sports and medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty members and course curriculum are good. The faculty are always available if there is any doubt, whether it is a theory or practical one. Faculty members also help the students by giving them new ideas or in their projects. The student to faculty ratio is good, and there are enough faculty members for teaching a subject.

Condition of government colleges.
Placements: No campus placements are offered yet. 0% of the students were placed. There is no placement cell in our college. Students after completing graduation move to IT cities for seeking jobs but very few person gets it. Many students switch there carries and move to another field. More than 50% prepares for a government job because they know that no company is going to hire them.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi initiated 2 years ago, but the speed is very poor. The condition of the labs is very poor. The classrooms are quite good but not of the B.E level. The library is good. There are no medical facilities and canteen. Sports happens once in a year. Th hostel rooms are the worst. Any one can enter in the college. Last year, the only security guard is hired.
Faculty: The teachers are not helpful at all. They just support the toppers only. They use old teaching methods. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. The course curriculum was not useful at all. The teachers are not qualified enough to teach at this level. Generally, seniors are hired as faculty members. They teach us only those things, which are important for the exam.
Other: Only engineers day is celebrated. The campus is big. Surrounding is also good. Backward class students get scholarship from the central government. In the name of extracurricular activities, the sports day is organised by the students once in a year.

Other: The college is located out of the city, but it is easy to reach. The infrastructure is good. There is no hostel or transport facility provided by the college. No canteen and mess also. However, getting admission in this college is not that easy as it is one of the most prestigious one in the state. The annual college fees is very cheap. The education quality is very poor. But attendance is not a major issue in this college. Practical lab work is not satisfactory. Permanent and experienced teachers are limited, and all the theory classes are engaged by contract faculty who do not have much teaching experience and their knowledge is limited. It is very easy for students to score well in practicals. There are no campus placements in this college.

Our college provides good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Our seniors have no placements till date. Only some students who scored high rank got placed, which results in less placement. There were very only a few companies which resulted in fewer placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities like Wi-Fi, library, sports, hostel rooms, etc. But there were dirty rooms and toilets in hostels. There were a very large space and ground in our college. The atmosphere on campus was fresh as there were many plants around.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful to us and they tried to give us their best. The student-faculty ratio was very high. Our course was not completed on-time, and we had to study the entire syllabus by ourselves which was very tough for us.
Other: Many events were held on campus. We had a tech-fest, and sports competitions. The crowd on the campus was very huge. The connectivity was also higher.
