It is the best campus with the best teachers.

Placements: Average placements are provided in our college, or about 45% to 50% of the students got placements in various companies. Top recruiting companies for our college are Jyoti CNC, Tata Motors, etc. I don't remember the salary packages offered here, but I think the highest salary package offered was about 10.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are an engineer, project manager, managing director, etc.

I am satisfied with faculty members, average placements, very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements provided in our college for students are below average because companies need quality students and top-level personalities. But in our college, very less students are comfortable with their branches/courses. Many national and international companies like TCS, Jyoti CNC, Birla Group of companies, etc., send their employees to our college to know better about students, but they get bad impressions on us.

I'm satisfied with college, faculty members, good infrastructure, facilities and average placements.

Placements: In our college, about 40% of the students got placements from the mechanical branch in which some students didn't like the job, and some students can't afford the jobs. The highest salary package offered in our college is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Many companies visit here and recruit students for their skill-based jobs. Companies like TCS, Reliance, Jyoti CNC, etc., came to our college. Top roles offered in the mechanical engineering course are thermal power plant e...

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed in my course this year. The highest package was around 3,60,000/- per annum by TCS. The recruiting companies are TCS, webocult, apt web design, brainwavesindia etc. Top roles are web designers, software programmers and developers.

Infrastructure and facilities are really good but placements are not that good.

Placements: In our course package is not more than 3 to 4 Lacs per annum, company like TCS recruit few freshers every year. Internship is important but we have to find company that recruit interns on our own, but 80-90% students have got an internship. 90% students get placement and other 10% wants to do further studies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and staff.

Placements: 10 to 20% student placed and the highest package is 30,000Rs. Student gets a job in Bangalore and many small company offered a job to our student. And some good student got a good job in a good company. We can say the college is average in placement.

I am dissatisfied with the laboratories of our department.

Placements: Students should score more than 60% to get placement, and the ST and SC students are allowed. The average and the highest packages offered in our college ranges between 2.8-3 LPA. The salary offered by the companies ranges from Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month.

If you want good support, this college is the best, but the placements are poor.

Placements: The placement process for the mechanical branch has just started with very much enthusiasm, and it is going on now. I got placed with the help of our placement cell. Day by day, the placement rate of Government Engineering College, Rajkot is increasing. The enthusiasm of faculty members for placements is very high and productive.

It is a good college for engineering.

Placements: Placements are good at our college, but companies select one or two students in the off-campus placements. We had to go to other colleges for interviews. No company visited our college to conduct placements.

The faculty members are good except IC branch. The placements are bad except CSE.

Placements: There are a few placements in the civil engineering branch. I am in the 3rd year, but my seniors have no placements in the year 2018. Our placement faculty members are bad in the college. They offer placements only for computer branch students. So, the placements are good for computer branch students.

The college had good infrastructure, average placement, and good faculty members.

Placements: The placements were average. Around 4-5 companies visited our college. The highest package offered was Rs. 18,000 and the lowest was Rs. 8,000 by one of them for junior software developer post. Only 5% students were placed through college campus interviews. Mostly, local companies placement came for placements.

Awesome teaching staff are available in GEC Rajkot.

Placements: No placements are available in this college, and the one who came is a consultancy. I am saying that they don't make permanent in their company. They only take us for 6 months or 1 years and not more than that. It is better to take admission in a private college but one more thing I am telling you that the value of studying in government is more than in a private college.

Overall, it is a good college, but not from the placements point of view.

Placements: This college is good at studies, but we cannot say that we have a better placement directly from the college campus. The placement cell here is really good and helps students to get good placements. You can say that an average of 50% students goes for the internship which is not provided by the college officially, but frequently, the industrial visits are provided.

The college is suitable for average students.

Placements: The placements are average. All our seniors got at least 1 job offer. Some branches have no placements, which is a very disappointing point about GECR.
