Best for studies, but would not recommend this college ever to anyone. Avoid this college.

Placements: Zero percent placements are here. There is only the name of the government, but there are no placements available here. I thought of getting placed when I joined here but didn't get any news of placements till now, other than the computer engineers.

Overall, it is good for civilians. There is good news for the civil students.

Placements: In our senior batch, there are no placements, and no student got placed by campus interview in our college. In our batch till now, no one attended interviews or companies campus visited the college, but I hope some companies will visit. There is no any internship received by the students from the college.

Really good infrastructure and environment for studies.

Placements: There are very few placements in my college. A company selected 3 students in 2016. 4 students were selected in 2017, and the average package offered is of 5 lacs per annum. An average of 2 or mostly 3 companies come for placement interview and select 2 or 3 students.

It provides good education at lower budget.

Placements: There are no placements available in civil engineering from the last seven years; The placements are available only in electrical engineering and computer engineering as this is a new college. It was built in 2007. Talented students are available in our college, but no company arrives here.

Satisfied because of some dedicated faculty members.

Placements: Placement facilities is good for electronics and communication and computer science department because the placement faculty members of these two branches are active. On the other side, civil, mechanical, automobile engineering placement faculty is not very much active in bringing the campus interviews.

Government engineering college, Rajkot

Placements: There are many companies that visit Government Engineering College Rajkot for placements. For example, recently our senior got a 5 LPA package from Reliance Industries and there are also many local companies that visited here for placements. Overall, if you do not have a backlog in any subjects and cleared all the subjects with a score of about 7 CGPA, then you would easily get 3 to 5 LPA package.
