MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2026

All the facilities are absolutely fine and we have good placements .
Placements: The college was established in 2018 and the MBBS course duration is 4.5 years, including the last year of internship, which is compulsory for all students. Until now, there hasn't been a batch passed out from this college, so placements are still not provided at the government medical college in Dungarpur.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is still under development and not complete yet. There is no wi-fi facility on campus or in the hostel but it is only available in college. Classrooms and libraries are good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is just average. Only volleyball and basketball courts are available, which is also below average.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and have a qualified degree, but some are here just to torture students. The course curriculum is the same as in all medical colleges. The attendance requirement is mandatory for all the students, approximately 75% in theory and 80% in practical and the passing criteria is 50 percent .
Other: The campus is alright .

The college has average facilities with a basic infrastructure.
Placements: We study MBBS here in a government college, so most of the students get posted in permanent government jobs within one or two years of the completion of the degree. They get jobs whenever the medical officer posts are vacant. Otherwise, private hospitals and post-graduation are other directions to go.
Infrastructure: Due to its location in a remote area, the facilities are not that good, but only average. The nearest ATM is located about 5 to 8 km away in the city, as the college is in the village. Electricity and water supply are sometimes irregular. The college has volleyball and basketball courts, but no football or cricket fields. The classroom and library are both slightly above average. There are three or four messes available now around the periphery of the college, so there are options. There's a good canteen in the college. The gym is also situated in the college and is facilitated with the required equipment. Medical facilities in a medical college are not a big deal, and also, there is a specially dedicated ambulance for the students.
Faculty: Some teachers are very helpful. The rest will do their job. Almost all teachers are well qualified, like having done specialisation or super specialisation in the subject, while others are B.Sc. or M.Sc. graduated. Students are knowledge-ready. Most of the university and semester exams are moderate to extremely difficult, but sometimes exceptionally easy. The pass percentage ranges between 80% to 100%.

Good college for undergraduates. Need improvement in infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placements in MBBS. You just do your studies, pass exams, do your compulsory internship, and search for jobs yourself or get PG seats by giving the PG exam. You can become a medical officer by writing the government exam or junior resident, or open your own private practice as well.
Infrastructure: There are well-conditioned, AC lecture theaters. The library for students is available from 9 am to 9 pm. Wi-Fi is not available. In the hostel, you get 24/7 light and electricity. Hostel rooms and bathrooms are in good condition. Mess food is okayish; according to price, the variety is Rajasthani, South Indian, and Punjabi.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and experienced as well. There are specialists and superspecialists available in each branch to teach you well about clinics and all. Teaching quality is above average. The course is according to NMC rules and regulations only. Exams in MBBS are difficult, as usual.
Other: You become a doctor, treat patients, and that gives me so much satisfaction as a student. The course is quite hectic and tough. The college annual fest takes place every year.

Overall, our college is good. It is ranked 105 in medical all over India.
Placements: Our college focuses very well on every student. Teachers individually call every student for viva. The highest salary package offered here is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Doctors could also opt for private jobs in top private hospitals of the country where they can earn in crores.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not in a crowded area. The hostel is in open nature away from the city and has a good environment for cultural and sports events. It has good rooms which are newly built. Labs are available, but Wi-Fi is not provided by our college. The food charges are Rs. 4,000 per month, which is good.
Faculty: The level of exams is moderate here. The passing percentage is 50%. The teachers have good experience and taught students very good. This MBBS course is very important to become a doctor and to become a COVID-19 warrior. Overall, it is a good college.
Other: Our college does not organise many curricular activities, but it has good connectivity with major cities like Ahmedabad and Udaipur.

Good college and better medical education
Placements: The college was established in 2018 . The first batch will complete the internship by March 2024 . So currently there is no such information or data regarding the placements offered to the medical students. The college provieds stipend of 20,000 a month to the interns.
Infrastructure: As mentioned above our college is recently established so a lot of construction works is going on in the campus . But they have provided the hostel facility with security and hygienic mess food to all the 4 batches residing in the campus . The college building is well built. It has 1 library 1 open reading area 4 lectures hall with projectors and centralised duct system . The labs are well equipped with necessary supplies . However there the campus is approximately 10 km away from the affliated government hospital and the nearby town.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are well qualified and very helpful to the students. The teaching is student friendly . Practical classes and clincal postings are given priority . Students are much exposed to the clincal knowledge . The pass percentage of the students is approximately 94%. The diffuculty level for exams follows the guidlines provided by the national medical council of India and the paper is set by RUHS
Other: All the facilities provieded by the college management cannot be said is up to the mark . There is no canteen in the campus though outside the campus on a walking distance there are 2 shops and a cafe which attract almost all the students . Mess food is good . For entertainment purpose there are sports activity .Basketball court and TT hall for the leisure. College organsize a fest in a year and celebration for the festivals like navratri Holi n Ganesh chaturthi.
