Government medical college Kozhikode- Review .
Placements: u2022 250 students are present in each year of the course u2022 25,000 thousand is the stipend which increases by 1000 every year u2022 Hospital, medical offices, medical colleges and other medical institutes u2022 internship is in the same hospital as part of course where students work for 1 year u2022 Doctors, teachers, medical offices .
Infrastructure: They have huge classrooms to accommodate 250 students Laboratories for all subjects Wi-Fi is available at very few areas. Hostels are very crowded for girls, while they are not for boys A huge Central Library is present with all academic books : Food in the mess is quite good In 2022, sports and games will be supported well by a lot of programs.
Faculty: Teaching is of high quality with highly qualified and experienced doctors Yes, the curriculum can be very tiring but it makes students ready for work in the future in the field. Semester exams can be very difficult to manage, but yet it can be cracked by the exam by the end of the year .
Other: It is my dream job. How do you get to help a lot of people even while doing the course? Better facilities, less crowds, etc. A lot of events take place every year; the campus crowd is not much but hostels can be crowded and hard to study in The campus surroundings are very beautiful. Several scholarships are available for students from different backgrounds. Extracurricular arts and sports are present in the college as well as other colleges to where students are taken from.

    My college, life, and experience.
Placements: The course as such does not provide any of the college itself. However, after completing it, we can enter for jobs in various clinics and hospitals. There is a period of internships lasting about a year. We will acquire all the skills during this period. The minimum salary will be around 50000.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities. WiFi is provided almost everywhere in the college. The labs and classrooms are also well-equipped and have good infrastructure. The hostel also provides good food and accommodation facilities. It is a nice experience.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly professional. They are graduates of the top colleges in the country. The classes that are provided by them are of a global standard. It is my luck to have such good faculty members. The exam is yearly, and the pass percentage is good. They are fair.
Other: My batch consists of about 250 students. All of them attended the NEET exam and got admission to our college.

Government medical college Kozhikode a dream college of many students in Kerala .
Placements: About 5000 students are studying in my college for MBBS course alone. We entered through the All India Medical Entrance Exam. Last Kerala rank entered was 333 in 2019, almost 650 plus marks were needed. Other cases like nursing, lab technologies, etc., are available here.
Infrastructure: We have government hostels with good infrastructure. My hostel is like apartments which were for PG students. As our hostels are less, they give us permission to stay in apartments. Therefore, very good facilities with good food and water are also provided, and study areas are present.
Faculty: Teachers are good. But lecture classes are quite boring. Most of us attend class for getting attendance. Lab and workshops are also available. Studying CBME curriculum with lots of clinical practical knowledge is very useful. But the curriculum is exerting too much pressure on us.
Other: My batch is huge with 250 MBBS students. It's boring to study in such a large capacity classroom.

    Absolutely worth studying here.
Placements: In MBBS all should complete 1 year rotating internship so all the 250 should do it Also there is no placement directly from college Majority apply for NEET PG examination and are engaged in it's preparation. Also many work as medical officer, and private practice.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the central library and in all department. All the labs have great facilities with well trained assistants and staff. Lecture complexes are average. Saju hall is too good and anatomy and physiology hall are average. Other department lecture halls are also fine.
Faculty: Teachers are highly dedicated. Curriculum is too hectic but relevant too. Semester exams doesn't exist, but it is yearly exams. Teaching method vary from each faculty but is of high quality. There is mentorship programme in which a faculty is assigned for 10 to 15 students so that personal care is available .
Other: College is well known for its fest. The college union is so active that all festival like onam Christmas are celebrated in grand mood. Also many dj nights are arranged. Sports is also a very active part with free gym and stadium facilities.

Absolutely satisfied with this course as it guarantees a very exciting campus life.
Placements: Since its a medical college, all passed out students will get placed in a hospital which may be private or government. So 100 percent placement guaranteed. The MBBS graduates can either work in a hospital or continue pursuing MD course. Once you reach the fifth year you can start earning a monthly stipend that can reach upto 30000 rs.
Infrastructure: The medical college though slightly old contains all the necessary infrastructure. All the departments have got the required equipments. Some study halls even got air conditioners. The hostels provide average food through mess. There is Wi-Fi available in every room. Football stadium is present. Facilities for table tennis, carrom, badminton are available within the hostel. There are facilities available for training in kickboxing, gym, athletics and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. A vast array of professors and mentors are always available for us who constantly monitor our academic capabilities. The curriculum is one of the most relevant as required by our community. The semester exams are slightly difficult, but can be passed by hard work. Almost 80 percent pass these exams.
Other: The medical field is the best course for me because it guarantees a job plus it is morally pleasing to support and help the downtrodden. Every month fests are held making the campus experience exciting and worthy.

A good college because of good results.
Placements: Almost 6 lakh students apply for the NEET exam every year, and Government Medical College Kozhikode is one of the first-preferred government medical colleges in Kerala and has good results. MBBS is a professional course apt for people who like to serve society. Choose this course if and only if you are ready to do social service and study for it. Our college conducts a good number of lectures for each subject. Internship is done here itself and provides the best clinical exposure.
Infrastructure: We have 3 lecture halls from where classes are taken, and the facilities are poor in one of them. We have a good library where they provide almost all books for every subject. No Wi-Fi is available in the college for students. Ladies hostel facilities are very poor; 6 members are allotted to a congested room. The mess is clean, but the food quality is also poor nowadays. Our college provides good opportunities for athletics.
Faculty: A good number of lectures are provided for each subject. Exams are conducted frequently to assess student performance. The pass percentage is 50, but students score good marks. Teachers are well-educated and experienced and help us clear all doubts.
Other: MBBS is a professional course that requires dedication and hard work. I chose this profession because I like to serve society. Campus surroundings are eco-friendly, and events are conducted in our college auditorium named Aurora. Scholarship money is delayed.
