Totally worth it if you want to take admission.
Placements: Various machines (in working condition), especially in machine shops (thanks to Azad Sir) for practical knowledge. The placement rate is 100% with an average package of 2 to 3 Lacs in companies like L&T and GE Aerospace. The supporting staff is good, and the location is convenient, around 10 km from Bareilly Junction.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old but well-maintained. The library is open 24/7 for hostel students, classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation, and there are lots of trees on the campus. A big playground is available for various sports, and there’s a small cafeteria. Digital boards are also installed, and there are three hostels for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students with average-quality mess food.
Faculty: As a mechanical student, the teachers in the Mechanical Department are very supportive and knowledgeable, especially Dr. Ashwani Sir and Arun Sir (HOD Mech.). Exams are always conducted late, around 1 month due to the BTEUP Board. The computer lab is equipped with the latest generation computer systems.
Other: As a car enthusiast, I chose mechanical automobile engineering because I gained extensive knowledge in cars and engines throughout the diploma. Various car engines are available for practical knowledge.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Students who score 90% are eligible for placements. The highest salary package offered is 1.80 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.2 PA. Our college doesn't provide internship opportunities. A few companies visit our college to recruit students. Around 5 students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have Wi-Fi, a library, etc. Classrooms and labs are good. The food served in the mess is not good. The medical facilities are not good. A playground is available in our college. They provide few games facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are not good. They fulfill their responsibilities without ensuring that their students comprehend the material. The pass percentage is around 60-70%. Semester exams are not always completed on schedule. If a student fails a semester exam, the teachers do not offer any assistance.
Other: Events are not held in our college. A scholarship facility is not available in our college.

Government Polytechnic Bareilly review.
Placements: So, I am studying at Government Polytechnic Bareilly, and I am in the Mechanical Production Engineering branch. I am currently studying in the 2nd year, so I didn’t get any placement or internship. My senior friends got placed in Maruti Company with an annual package of 300,000 INR. A lot of students from my senior batch got placed, almost 30 to 40 percent of the students, in several companies like Toyota, which recently visited our college and placed many students, and TCS, Infosys, Maruti, and many more. So, we got opportunities. The lowest package was around 100,000 INR.
Infrastructure: Since our college is a government institution, we have a very big campus with many small buildings for several departments and works. But our main building is old, and it needs renovation from the outside. However, from the inside, it is very well-built, and every class has smart boards so that we can study more efficiently. Every lab is available for different courses, and there are many of them. We also have a separate building for workshops only, and it is very beautiful. All students do their workshop activities there.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are definitely very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teachers teach students very efficiently, and they do their best to make them industry-ready. The teachers are easy to reach, as most of them live in academic quarters, which makes it easier for students to get help. Our course curriculum is okay and enough for diploma students to make them industry-ready. As our exams are conducted by the board, the level of the exam stays easy to moderate. If someone is studying properly, they will definitely pass with good marks, meeting the minimum passing marks.
Other: I chose this college as it was one of the best colleges for the diploma course and is also near my home. I chose my course because almost 70 percent of students got placed in this college, and it is the cheapest college in the whole city. The admission process was very easy and relevant. First, I took an exam through JEECUP, then I chose my college. After that, they called me for document verification, which included the 10th and 12th marksheets, Domicile, Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Admission letter, Admit card, Aadhar card, and other basic documents.

Very good college to get placed in a good company.
Placements: It's more than 90% placement record every year. The lowest package was around INR 1.8 lakh per annum and the highest was around INR 3 lakh per annum. The top recruiting companies are Tata and Maruti Suzuki. 75% got internships and the top roles were offered as junior engineers.
Infrastructure: As it is a government college, the infrastructure was not so good. But, the facilities are satisfying. Labs and classes are good and well-maintained. Medical facilities were also good. The food quality available in the mess is also good. Sports week is my favorite event at my college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Also, they are very frank with students. They play cricket with us. Semester exams are not much difficult they are very easy to clear. Teachers are very good in their fields. They know about everything relevant to their subjects.
Other: I choose it because I love to know about automobiles and I love cars and I am interested in knowing how their production happens.

College is best for all the students.
Placements: In the college about 70% of the students got placements. The average package was 2-3 LPA ANM last year. Many companies like Bajaj, Mahindra, AK automatics, HFCL, HPPL and many more companies come to the college for placement. Students got an internship opportunity of 1 month during the course.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on campus because the college is so old and has a place in the state. So all labs are available. The library is available to use regularly and many of the students use it. The college has a Wi-Fi connection. The hostel is good and the mess provides good food. There is available a separate canteen on the campus.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and experienced. So they teach well to students and focus all on the development of students. Teachers focus on practical knowledge also very well because practical knowledge is very important for industrial experience.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering in this college because there are many opportunities in this line and many types of companies also come for placement in college. On the other way, I am interested in the automotive field. Many events are celebrated in the college like republic day,15 August and farewell party.

I was absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements in 2018.
Placements: Every year, almost 80% of students get placed in college placements. The highest salary package offered was around 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. There were many companies that came for placements like Tata, Mahindra, General Electrical, Bajaj, and Ashok Leyland. Mostly, students got placed in apprenticeship or trainee roles. After successful completion of training, they may be hired directly by the company.
Infrastructure: We all know how government college infrastructure will be but the buildings are very old. Some of the blocks were recently built. There were labs for every subject. The classrooms were quite okay. The canteen was not too good but good for hunger relief. The library was very old and there were not sufficient books available for study.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. Most of the lecturers were old but there was a private faculty to teach whose teaching skills were very good. Curriculum of the BTEUP board was very old. According to me, it should be changed now according to this digital world. There were semester exams conducted every six months.
