Our college and faculty members are good.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tata Steel, Jindal, Vedanta, and Automotive Mando Chennai. Almost 55% of the students got internships from our course in Tata Steel, Jindal, and Usha Martin.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good, and infrastructure development is good. Wi-Fi is also available, and labs and a library are also available. The quality of the hostel is very good, but the food is not good in the canteen. Medical facilities are poor, but sports and games facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable and qualified with B.Tech and M.Tech. Their teaching quality is good. Exam criteria for semester exams are very good. The passing percentage is approximately 89.63%. There is no need to face difficulties in passing the semester exams.

Other: I have chosen electrical engineering for future development. The best thing about our course is that we get regular practical activities. Our surroundings and extracurricular activities are very good.

Overall, our college is best in the value for money.

Placements: About 15% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Companies like Tata Motors, Telco, RCB, Cartier, Hitachi, etc., visit here for placements. About 10% of students got placements in the past 2 years.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available here, but they are not in ON state. Lab facilities are average. The canteen is not good, and outside students do not enter. There is a huge ground for sports. The library is very good. Classrooms are attractive and very clean.

Faculty: Our class teacher is also good and very knowledgeable. They teach well, and teachers are helpful compared to other colleges like Government Polytechnic Adityapur. This college is the best, and students are ready for any placement. Semester exams in this college are not very tough, and about 70% of students will pass them.

Other: I am interested in this course. My dream is to pursue electrical engineering and work in the company. So, I chose this course.

Overall the college is good. And also value for money.

Placements: In this college placement is not good at all because of the location of college and also due to new college very less amount of companies comes for placement. In the batch of 2018-21 from Electrical Engineering there was 5% to 10% students were placed. The highest package was 2.5 lakh pa and average package was 1.2 lakh p. a. The recruiting companies are Ceat tyre, Hitachi, Mando Automotive.

Infrastructure: The facilities offered by this college is perfect as compared to other Polytechnics colleges like Government Polytechnic Adityapur. College provide hostel within the college campus consist of two blocks one each for boys and girls. College is equipped with modern computer lab with over 200 computers. It also provides beautiful library consisting reading room and open study area.

Faculty: The teaching faculty members are good enough to satisfy the needs of the students. Teachers are also helpful and friendly they would support you and every manners possible making it good environment for studies and growth. The college staffs are also well behaved. All the practical and labs are done properly by respective faculty members. In the college the semester examination are not tough. The passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I want to be junior electrical engineer, this is the course only in which after completing this course we can apply various jee exams like SSC je, RRB je, State je etc. Within less time compered to Betch. The course offer by college is perfect but the syllabus of Power System 2 of 5th semester need to be modification .

Review of Government Polytechnic College, Kharsawan.

Placements: There were 60 students in my branch and a total of 210 in our college, but not a single student got placed. There are no placements in our college. No company came for placements. Since no student got placed, there is nothing to talk about the highest and lowest packages. Even if students are hardworking, they are not getting jobs due to the irresponsible college administration.

Infrastructure: This college has one of the best infrastructures among all the Polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand. The library has lots of books. You get almost every book required for your course. There are labs for all subjects and are equipped with all the required instruments. The hostel is good. A mess facility is available.

Faculty: The faculty members are not responsible. They have never completed the syllabus on time. They will give you assignments when there are only 5 days left for external exams. They do not take you to labs for practical classes. Internal exams are not scheduled. The faculty don't come to college during exams due to which students face problems.
