Diploma in Information Technology - Batch of 2024

The students here are all meritorious and competitive. So it's enjoyable to be part of the college.
Placements: In our branch, one company visited the campus named Thought Works and 4-5 students were selected. It was mandatory to complete a 6-month internship for all students. If you're from the non-tech branch, then placement opportunities are quite good, and some of the students from the non-tech branch also got stipends during their internships.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is quite old and Hardware and Microprocessor's laboratories PC's are not in working condition. The hostel was good and affordable. The food was not that good. All facilities like water purifiers, etc. was provided by the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified but some of the visiting faculty members are not putting in their efforts, so the option remains: only self-study. The curriculum designed is outdated and some frameworks and languages are not in use today. If you're in non-technical, then you'll definitely get highly qualified staff.
Other: The curriculum should be updated according to the New Education Policy. And the labs should be updated .

Review of Government college of Diploma in Nashik (Samangaon).
Placements: Our college placement is average; only 1 and 2 companies are placed in our college. But education is the best. In this college, the cutoff is very high. The computer and IT branch cutoff is above 95. This year, last semester, we had internships at our colleges. The degree subject average is most important for admission to the degree.
Infrastructure: Our college department is very curious. Labs and classrooms are big and huge. Hostels are also huge. Our college courses are expendable. And practical also here. The hostel cutoff depends on the result of the semester. Our college courses and hostels are huge and affordable.
Faculty: 3rd-year faculty are permanent members of our college. The faculty staff is well educated and most experienced in teaching, so the faculty is the best in college. And the curriculum has changed this year. And the exam schedule is good for our college. Every semester has 2 PTs (unit tests) and a final exam.
Other: Our college campus and surroundings are very big. The library is also included in our college. Events are organized at the district level. And scholarships also provide for students.

I am absolutely satisfied with this college.
Placements: Around 15% of students were placed out of 70. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2.5 LPA. The recruiting company was L&T. Internships were not provided in our college due to the pandemic. Junior engineer role was offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our college had better infrastructure like labs, etc. Wi-Fi was not available. All classrooms were the best. The library was the best with all types of field books. Hostel facilities were the best but the food served was not good. Sports and games were the best in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful and experienced. Their teaching quality was the best. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Exams were conducted very strictly. The pass marks were minimum of 40 marks in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this field. Our college needs to maintain its roads to minimise accidents.

It is the best college with a good environment, well-qualified staff, and industry-relevant courses.
