Candidate must have passed 10th grade or S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Candidates from NIOS/APOSS/other recognized examinations deemed equivalent to SSC by the A.P. Government must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2024, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET- 2024. There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2024. Candidates must be Indian citizens and residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Review ofGovernment Polytechnic College, Pithapuram.

Placements: There are no placements in our college. There are also full-time students. Education is good, but facilities are not. The college does not offer placement opportunities. Students are unemployed after completing their education as a result of the government funding.

Infrastructure: There are no proper facilities at our college. There are no benches and no blackboards. Outside of the college is beautiful, but the campus is not beautiful. There is no minimum infrastructure at our college.

Faculty: Certain teachers are available but the full strength of faculty members is not there. The remaining teachers are good. There are only 3 teachers for the core subjects in the branch. Every time, the remaining faculty members explain things very well to students.

Other: There are no other activities for the students.

Review of Government Polytechnic College, Pithapuram.

Placements: About 50% of students were placed in our senior batch. We did not get any placements due to COVID. Companies like Amazon visit here. They offer jobs like quality control.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Labs had instruments related to chemistry and physics. The food in the hostel was of good quality. Sports were also conducted.

Faculty: Most teachers were appointed by the government. They were highly qualified. They had proper knowledge about the subject matter. They had good communication skills. Semester exams were conducted in a strict manner.
