Teaching Quality

* The faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and qualified (Faculties in our college are regular, punctual and cooperative.).
* They provide individual attention to students (Individual attention is paid by the faculty, and they give several counselling sessions.).
* The teaching quality is good, and lectures are helpful (Teachers are very helpful and informative.).

Industry Exposure

* Industrial visits are organized every semester to expose students to the industry demands (Every semester, they conduct an industrial visit for the students to get exposure to the industrial demand.).
* Placement training is conducted every semester to make students industry-ready (Placement training will be conducted 2-3 weeks every semester so as to make us industry-ready.).

Not so satisfied about my college.
Placements: I can say 90 to 97% of students from my branch have been placed every year. The highest I can say is 35 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average is 8 to 15 LPA. HP, Dell, Visa, Accenture, etc., are top recruiters. Good placements, plenty of workshops, placement activities, hackathons, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, but they won’t give the password. We have very good labs and classrooms with broad podiums, smart screens, and a very beautiful library with a lot of our branch books and others too. Being in a girls' college, I can say we have very good hostel facilities and food. We have sports too. Every time, our college throwball team has won at the VTU zonal level.
Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful; they behave rudely and target students. The teaching quality is okay, kind of average. The pass percentage is actually good in my college. Semester exams are always tough for us because we are affiliated with Vishweshwaraiah Institute of Technology, Belagavi.
Other: As everyone knows, Electronics and Communication Engineering is always an evergreen course because after your completion of engineering, you can choose software or hardware. You can even apply for government exams. ECE is always a vast subject and one of the toughest branches too. Yes, we conduct events in our college, but not as much as other colleges. We have an annual event called Geethayana.

Amazing learning environment.
Placements: 70% of students got placed, the highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest package is around 3.8 to 4 LPA. Purestorage, Visa, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, L and T, Infosys. Almost 40 percent of students got internship offers. The roles are Graduate Engineer Trainee, etc.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped classes, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. There is a separate department library in addition to the central library of the college. Hostel Quality: Clean and spacious rooms with adequate ventilation. Rooms are available on a twin-sharing or triple-sharing basis, with basic furniture like beds, study tables, and wardrobes. 24/7 security and power backup. Mess and Canteen: The hostel mess provides hygienic, nutritious, and well-balanced meals with a variety of vegetarian options. A canteen on campus serves snacks and beverages at affordable prices.
Faculty: The teachers at GSSSIETW Mysore are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable, ensuring a supportive learning environment. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees and have significant expertise in their respective fields. The teaching quality is commendable, with a focus on practical applications, conceptual clarity, and industry relevance. Interactive methods, including seminars and workshops, enhance learning. The course curriculum is well-structured and regularly updated to align with industry standards, making students industry-ready. It integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, supported by lab sessions, projects, and internships that prepare students.

Our college provides good placements, and it is the only girls' college in Karnal for engineering.
Placements: In our college, all branches have good placement opportunities, especially CSE and ISE. Placements are good. Placement training will be conducted every semester. Every year, around 95% of students get placements. Our college provides placement assistance. The highest salary package offered by Visa this year is 32 LPA. Companies like Visa, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, HP, Lulu Lemon, Pure Storage, etc., visit our college. Many students got internships from the pre-final year in Being, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in both the college and hostel. Classrooms, a lab, and a library are good. The hostel is strict. We have only 1 canteen where the menu is limited. Sports facilities are very good. Many students have participated in nationals. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Our college is VTU-affiliated. In semester exams, except for 2 or 3 students who will have backlogs in a few subjects, all will pass in our branch. When it comes to teaching, you can expect only a few teachers who teach well. Prefinal year and 2nd-year students are taken for pre-placement talks, webinars, etc.
Other: Our college is strict and less crowded. Our college conducts fests once a year. They are simple.

Campus Tour in and around GSSSIETW.
Placements: Our batch started in 2021. In the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, almost 100% of students get placed in this institute, as long as there are no backlogs maintained. Companies like Dell, HP, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, L&T, and many other companies come to our campus. The highest package recorded this year is 31 LPA by Visa. Top roles offered for ECE engineers are Schematic Engineer, Chip Design Engineer, Embedded Engineer, etc. The average package is usually 5 LPA. Almost 50% of students get internships, and 100% of students with no active backlogs get placed.
Infrastructure: The institution offers many courses, among which the best I felt was ECE, so I joined this course. The facilities provided by the department are really good. The department cares too much for the students, strictly monitoring attendance and arranging various activities and workshops. The hostel is really good as far as I've heard since I'm a day scholar.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and really good to the students. They help in various academic and event aspects, helping in projects too for practical knowledge. Since we have many workshops and clubs organized, arranging various events timely, we don't face many difficulties with academics. Since attendance is strictly monitored and the faculty members do their jobs well.
Other: When it comes to placements, this institute is best for girls. It is safe to enjoy fests and events here. The campus life is fully satisfactory.

An insightful glimpse into our college experience.
Placements: I'm so happy about my college and the course I have chosen. 100% of students have been placed and the highest package is 32 LPA, and the lower package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are hiring us. Students also get internships and different roles.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure, labs, a library, and good classrooms for learning. The hostel facility is very good and provides good care for the students without any problems. They provide Wi-Fi when needed for students for their study usage.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and take good care of us and provide good wishes towards the education. The course curriculum is relevant and also helpful for us in our future. Teachers provide good teaching and we do not feel that semester exams are difficult.
Other: I like the college because of their education and how important they give to students and how they make us explore every part of education. The connectivity and the campus are very fabulous and it feels good to read and learn there.

College education is good but this college is not for enjoyment. The hostel is very strict.
Placements: Placement is very good at this college. Ninety percent of the students get placed in our college. More than thirty percent of students will have more than one job offer letter from the companies in their hands. The salary package lies between 300000-2200000.
Infrastructure: Hostel maintenance is very good but very strict. In case any rules are broken, they will make us pay the heavy fine, which lies between Rs 25 and Rs 3000. They will make us pay the fine for even silly things. This hostel is not for enjoyment. If you're looking for enjoyment, don't come to this hostel.
Faculty: Teaching is good but not all teachers are good. Our college is known for good placement and a good salary package. Semester-end exams are not that tough. You can pass if you study well. This college is for students who are good at studying, not for enjoyment.
Other: Our college conducts only 1 fest a year, which lasts for 15–20 days. I have chosen AIML at this college and the head of the department is really supportive of the students who want to explore.

The institute conduct an annual college fest called Geethayana which is described as a grandly conducted Techno Cultural Fest. This event is held every year in june. In addition to the annual Geethayana fest  the institute also organizes a Cultural and Management Fest called Prayag which is also held in July.
