Placements: There are very few companies that visited the campus. Maybe 4-5 companies. The companies that visited our campus are Wipro, Samsung, IBM, HP and Daffodil. Only 13 students out of 62 were selected for jobs. The highest salary offered by Samsung is 30 thousand per month. The average salary offered is 16 thousand per month. The lowest salary offered is 10 thousand per month.
Placements: The placements are really good and companies like Infosys, Saint-Gobain, TCS, Vardhman, Trident and much more visit the college and select students from all branches. Companies like Vardhman Spinning Mills have given a stipend and industrial training to students of our batch. Vardhman has also hired students for a good package.
Placements: Placement is extremely good. Every year, 70-80% students are placed in good companies. From my point of view, the placement is only 80-90%. It depends on the students if he/she works hard to surely get placed in good companies. 10-20%, the college helps for you to sit in interviews and exam.
Placements: I found the placements at our college satisfactory because my expectations were a bit high. The highest package was around 9 LPA and the lowest was of 2 LPA. On an average, people got a package of 3 to 4.5 LPA. Companies like Accenture and Trident visited for placements. Overall, it was okay but not kind of a dream job.
Placements: The placements at my time were pretty good. The highest package offered was around 9 lakhs and the average was around 4 lakhs. We have almost 80% of our batchmates placed, and the major placements were received by CSE and IT students due to the technological advancement these days.
Placements: The total number of previous year placements is 468 and the percentage of students who got placed is 63% of the total and 100% of students who were eligible for placements. The placement criteria is as follows: 60% in 10th class. 60% in 12th or diploma. 65% aggregate percentage of first 6 semesters. No active backlog. The lowest salary was offered by E-Clerks and it was 1.96 LPA only. The highest salary was offered by Microsoft and it was 18 LPA but no one from our college was able to grasp th...
Placements: The placements for our batch are good and not below average. 50% of the students have been placed in core by now and 70 % students are placed in core + IT companies. The highest package offered was 8 LPA and the average salary offered is 3 LPA. In our batch, SML Isuzu, Anglo Eastern, JCBL Group, Saint-Gobain, Thermax and many other core companies visited our campus. The roles were of a junior engineer or project handler. Many students got internships under companies and got placed. The highes...
Placements: Placement scenario is just average. I know the details as I am a member of the placement cell. A little above 400 students were placed of the outgoing batch. Out of which, a majority were placed in the mass recruitment drives by Infosys and Accenture. Apart from that, other good companies like SML Isuzu, Sapient Global, Saint-Gobain, CybageChicmic visited but these companies selected not more than 5 candidates on an average. A few start-up companies like Code-Brews, Web solutions, Jereone Tech ...
Placements: Top construction companies of India like L&T, Punj Lloyd, Shaupurji etc used to visit the campus frequently and select the deserving candidates. Many of the students are selected in government departments at the officer level and also a number of students are working abroad in reputed companies in Canada, USA and gulf countries.
Placements: Worse placements ever! Only 3 students placed in core companies. No internship opportunity available from college. No industry exposure. No efforts from the training and placement cell. They were so casual in their approach. No worry about students' future.
Placements: The placements of the senior and passout batches were average with every student getting a package of around 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Some got higher packages at around 6-7 lacs. TCS and Infosys are the major recruiters in our college, and the other companies include Accenture, Saint-Gobain etc. The training and placement cell of our college is good and they help students in various ways to prepare. Around 80% got internships from the college.
Placements: The placements were very good here since many international companies visited the campus. Mahindra, Ambuja etc and likewise companies offer the placements here. At least 70-80% of the batch got placed and the package went for around 4-6 lakhs per annum. The prerequisites were taken care of well in the beginning itself.
Placements: For 2014 batch, Infosys and TCS both visited the college and 82 got placed in TCS and 95 got placed in Infosys. I was a member of training and placement student wing of my college so I have some exact figures. After a long change, Sapient visited our college and 7 students got placed. In Thermax, 1 got placed and in Mahindra, one. Mechanical students got placed. Apart from that, some small scales companies visited whose offers varied from Rs. 1.8 lakhs to 2.4 lakhs. GNDEC is located at a distance of 5min from the bus stand. The good thing about this college is that it has a huge campus. It also has a big parking space so that a lot of students can come by their own vehicles. Apart from this on-road facilities are also available. There are all kinds of sports grounds, an open-air theatre, about 4 small canteens and equipped labs. Wi-Fi facility is also available. The hostel is average. The teachers are good and 90% students get placements in recognized co...
GNDEC is a college known for its name because it is quite an old institute, established in 1956. So yes it is quite known within Punjab but maybe not that much outside the state. The infrastructure of the college is quite good, though some of the buildings are old but there is Wi-Fi, computer labs, an amphitheatre, an auditorium, lots of gardens and sports grounds, and separate cricket, football and hockey grounds. There is also a gym and swimming pool. A few indoor games are available too. The...
The placement graph is quite good. I excelled in the extra curriculum through this college. Talking about brand, this is one of the best known colleges for engineering in Punjab. For a computer science engineering student, the infrastructure is very good. However, the rest of the college has a very old infrastructure. Several companies conduct mass recruitments via CRTs and interviews. The cultural society gets the best out of you if you like extra curriculum.
The college provides you good infrastructure and facilities. Special cells in the college is TCC and T&P provides good knowledge and experience to the students. On the other side, crowd is not good because quotas are available in the college and some teachers don't know how to teach.
