The college is modernised, known for staff, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: The college is known for its placements. Every year, a lot of companies namely Infosys, Accenture, TCS, etc. do campus placements and recruit a lot of students. The packages offered are also above average. There are many high-value packages offered by the companies.

Faculty was good when compared to the other colleges.

Placements: The college provides placements to all the students. Every year, more than 50-60 companies visit the campus and select the best students for their companies. They gave up to 25-30 LPA. Overall, everything was good about this institute. I request all the Ludhiana students come forward and admit yourself at Guru Nanak dev engineering college.

Save your life and skip the college.

Placements: Judging a college by the number of placements is a tricky metric. The number is not crucial, what's crucial is the percentage of students placed in good companies. Within my batch, I think it will be safe to say that not more than 30% of students got placed if you consider all the branches. But the surprising thing is more than 60% of students got placed in the computer and IT related branches. The average compensation offered, I would say was 3 LPA, but the catch here is these were mostly mass ...

There are good placements in 2016 and infrastructure is good.

Placements: There is a very good placement record of this college. You may join this college. It is not bad like any other government engineering college. I think, 50% students got placed with a good package, and some are also going to other countries like Australia. Some of the best companies like TCS, Infosys etc. visit the college.

Good college and has a beautiful infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are good, especially for an IT sector. More than half of students are placed in reputed companies. The highest salary offered was Rs. 8 lacs per annum by ISUZU company. The lowest salary offered to the students was 3 lacs annum. Various steps are also taken to help the students for getting placement opportunities.

Absolutely love it. Very good and supportive faculty. Good environment, good placements in 2017.

Placements: The college has very good placements. Every year, about 8-10 companies do recruitment in the college. Some of the students from our college placed in Google, Microsoft and Facebook. The teachers help the students to prepare for the interviews. Very Good companies like Saint Goben, Infosys, Mahindra, ACC and other companies do campus recruitment.

A very cool college as per its environment. Disappointed due to fewer placements at our time.

Placements: The placement rate was less at my time. Only a few of the students were placed at our time. Now, the placements are much better than earlier. The companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Adobe and even Microsoft visited to take the students from the campus. Many of the companies from Chandigarh also started to come with a good package.

Old college with good reputation.

Placements: The percentage of the students getting placed is relatively better than other colleges, but the annual package is too low. The gap between the average package and the highest package is also too high. The computer science usually witnesses mass recruitment from the TCS.

Absolutely satisfied with the infrastructure and facilities. Around 84% placements.

Placements: The placements of our college are very good. MNCs like Infosys, Accenture, Bosch, Tata, TCS and many others visit our college regularly in the placement season. Many of our college students can start their own business as they were interested in doing so.

A very good college for studies and sports.

Placements: The placements are very good. Every year companies visit our college and recruit the students. In my class, 12 students are placed in different companies. The average salary offered by the companies is 3-5 lacs per annum. About 38% of the students got the internship from the college. There is special placement cell for the students.

Good for self-taught students.

Placements: I don't think that really great companies come for campus placements. Most of the companies are mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc., but almost all the eligible candidates of CSE and ME are placed. If you depend on the placements, then don't come to this college. Get some real skills that will help you in the long run and jobs are always there for skilled persons.

Neither has a great faculty nor good placements, but better than other average colleges of Punjab.

Placements: Presently, I'm in the first year, and so I don't know a lot, but still, up to now, I hadn't heard anything good about placements. About 80% students got placed and were offered packages of an average about 3-4 LPA with a maximum of about 6 LPA and a minimum of about 1.75 LPA. The companies visiting our college campus include majors like Infosys, TCS, Accenture and other companies like Code Brew Labs, Thermax United, Sapient Global Market, etc. The internship can be availed either way on and off ...

Placements: The college is very reputed college, as it has great placement history. Many companies such as Wipro, General Electric, Barcos, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Vodafone, Airtel and much more come here. The starting package depends upon the company ranging from 3 lacs to 5 lacs per annum.

Quite satisfied with the college in my tenure as it provides a stage where students can show talent.

Placements: The placements offered by the good companies. Offered a decent package up to 35 KPM and the mass recruiters are Infosys, Accenture and TCS and almost 80% of the students get placed. For CSE branch the companies open to offer a post. For the developer and mechanical students get placed in the companies like Thermax. 20% of companies offering pre-placement internships and some companies offer up to 25k for 6 months internship, and the students also look for the internship own. A good college of northern India.

Placements: Placements are decent. Most of the eligible students get placed. Some core companies visit the campus every year but majorly mass recruiters hire students in bulk. Around 60-70% students get placed the average salary offered is around 3.5 LPA and the maximum package offered last year was around 17 lakhs. Very few companies visit for internships like Thermax and Adobe.

The faculty of college are very good. A very good practical and field knowledge can be gained here.

Placements: The placements are good for those students who want to work in the IT industry like the Infosys, Accenture, etc. There is no doubt that the core companies (Shapoorji&Pallonji, Capgemini etc.) will come, but not as much of now. Earlier, core companies used to come, but the trend of students of getting the jobs and moving to the foreign countries for education has been making the companies to step back from recruiting the students in the next year.

Placements: This year, 90% placements were there. I personally got a 4.5 lacs per annum package from TCS as I am from CSE branch. All the biggest 35 MNCs came as recruiters this year and I am happy to get a good job worth my education in GNE. So if you want to get a good education and a great job, then go ahead for it.

Not the best but good for those who do.

Placements: Placements were average for students. The average package lies between 3 to 4 lakhs and the highest went up to 6 to 7 lakhs in these 2 to 3 years. Every year, approximately 450 students got placed out of 900 students which is overall good. This college is going to grab a university status in 2018 which is amazing.
