Getting admission in Guru Nanak Institute of Technology is a mistake.

Placements: The placements of our college are terrible, as of now, only one student got placed in 2019 batch. The companies aren't willing to visit our college. Placement percentage is less than 10%. Even my seniors are struggling to get a job, and not because they weren't good at studies but because the college didn't play its role as it should.

The college fee is very nominal as compared to other engineering colleges in Kolkata. The lab structure and instruments are very good and a student can get access of the lab anytime during college hours. The faculty members of information technology department are not very cooperative and helpful with students. As it comes under JIS group so you have to compete with students of four other colleges to get a job. So it becomes quite difficult for an average student to get placed.
