Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT Scholarships and Funding
The Institute provides scholarship schemes to the students enrolled in Graduate and Post Graduate programs from non-government organisations. The students apply for the scholarship schemes and the applications are thoroughly reviewed by the governing body of the Institute and approvals are set accordingly. The list of the scholarship schemes offered by the institute is given below:
1) Institute UG Scholarship- The Institute offers a scholarship of Rs.60,000/- @ Rs.10,000/- per semester to the students who have studied their three years of Diploma in Engineering in the institute.
2)Institute PG Scholarship- The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% on tuition fees i.e Rs.10000/- per semester is applicable to the external students who have scored a DGPA of 7.0 and above in their last qualifying examination for pursuing M.Tech. Assistance ship of Rs.3000 per month will also be given to M.Tech students (M.Tech-Civil Engineering is not eligible for the stipend). The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% of the tuition fees to any student who has completed a B.Tech programme from this institute and secures admission to the M.Tech program in the same institute. Assistance ship of Rs.3000 per month will also be given to M.Tech students (M.Tech-Civil Engineering is not eligible for the stipend). The Institute offers a scholarship of 20% on tuition fees i.e Rs.10000/- per semester is applicable to the external students who have scored a DGPA of 7.0 and above in their last qualifying examination for pursuing MCA.

Placements: After higher secondary examination, around 75% of science background students are eligible for the B.Tech engineering food technology course. Placements: If anyone wants to join this course in this college one will need 60% marks in maths, physics, and biology subject. In this course college salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for this course Amazon, Tata Motors, etc. Maximum students were offered internships.
Placements: On average, 20% of students are placed here every year but the college authority says that in our college, they give 90% placement for advertisements, but this is not fully true. The highest package on campus is 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 2.5 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. In the past few years, there have been no company visits to our college for my courses. Students get internships on campus in software service and product-based companies but not in a core company. Network developer...
Placements: The placement rate in our college is very good; every year above 85% of students got placed from campus. The highest package given is like 2 Lacs p.a. The lowest package is 3 Lacs p.a. Average is around 5-7 Lacs p.a. Top recruiting companies for our department are Coca-Cola, Keventer, Sobisco, Nestle, etc. Every student is helped to get internship from the college to companies like Raja Biscuit and PepsiCo. Top roles offered are lab assistant, quality checker, and production manager.
Placements: The placement in our college is overall good. To be eligible for placements, you will need to have a minimum of 75 percent attendance in all semesters and also maintain a CGPA of 7.5+. Apart from that, you also need to have 60 percent marks in your class X and XII board examinations.
Placements: Less than 20% of students got placed, and mostly the placement cell was unable to coordinate. Even the training given by the placement cell was not even up to the mark. The coding grounds were of toughness level 8 and the training we got was about the basics which were of toughness level 3-4.
