Placements: Placements are above average at HIT Haldia for both core and non-core branches. Many reputed recruiters visit the campus, offering good packages. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Exide, L&T, and Asian Paints are some of the top recruiters. The placement cell is very active in organizing job drives and internships for the students.

Placements: 40% of students are placed. The highest package is 24 Lacs, the average package is 6 Lacs, and the lowest package is 4 Lacs. PWC, Accenture, and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies. 6-7 students got internships in local power plants like Kolaghat Power and Lalbaba, etc. Mainly, electronic engineers and semiconductor engineers are recruited, but many students go for IT jobs like web development and software development.

Placements: There were 72 placed out of 118 in electrical, 47 in ECE out of 180, and 90+ in mechanical out of 120. The placement varies every year. It was the placement record of the 2024 batch. CSE placement is moderate; chemical placement is good; Haldia is famous for this and this post too.

Placements: From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as Adani Wilmar, Hindustan come, Emami agrovet, ITC foods, Bengal beverages, Dabur, Zifu R&D, Labvantage, Accenture etc. The highest package of the current year is around 2700000 (few students got this packages )and average is around 5-7 LPA. 89% students got placement.

Placements: Over 80% of students are placed in the Mechanical department. The lowest package is around 2.5 LPA, and the highest is about 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for the Mechanical department include HPL, ADANI Power, and Ambuja Cement. Various companies visit the college to offer internships, which are helpful.

Placements: 90% of students are placed. The highest package is 42 LPA and the average package is 6–8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Synopsis, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Nestled, Godrej and many other companies. 70% of students got internship programs based on merit.

Placements: HIT has a reputation for good placement, but the placement percentage is quite low this year. Before 2024, the placement scenario was good. The eligibility criteria differ; a 7-9 CGPA is preferred. However, the highest package offered this year is 33 LPA.

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed in our course. 45 Lacs is the highest, 3 Lacs was the lowest, and 7 Lacs per annum is the average package that's offered in our college. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Commvault, Cognizant, and IBM are the companies that actively recruit IT graduates. During the summer internship placements 2024, a total of 413 students from my course took internships. Chief Information Security Officer, Security Architect, and Malware Analyst are the top roles offered in our course.

Placements: 61 percent students got placed in my college in 2024. The highest package offered is around 33 Lacs, the lowest is 2.5 LPA with an average package of around 4.5. Wipro, Accenture, PWC, Ambuja, and Flipkart are the top recruiting companies. 45 students out of 100 got internships from ECE in PWC. Manager and Lower manager are the good posts offered.

Placements: 61% students got placed this year till now. 33 Lacs is the highest package offered. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Aditya Birla, Synopsis, etc. From second and third year onwards, internships start and you can get them as per your skills. Almost all the students get internships.

Placements: Overall, the college is very good and decent. Placements are very good. Approximately 95% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 23 Lacs, while the lowest package offered is 1.5 Lacs. The average package offered is between 4-5 Lacs. Wipro, TCS, and Accenture are the top companies for my course. Almost 90% of students get internships.

Placements: I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia. I will be graduating from the college in the year of 2026. HIT is known to hold a record for providing placements to over 92% of the total eligible students. In 2024, a company offered a package of 33 LPA to a student, one of the highest on-campus placement offers. Placements: The highest on-campus placement package this year was 33 Lacs. Some of the of the top recruiting companies are PWS, TCS, and many more. The average placement is about 98%. Our college conducts webinars and seminars for guidance on placement companies. Our college has the best value for money.

Placements: In Kolkata's Heritage Institute of Technology, an average of 4 lakh students per year may have 80%, but for top disciplines like Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology, it is 6 lakh per year. But it is less in case of Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

Placements: A total of 91% of students were at Haldia Institute of Technology. The highest package was 27 lacs, and the average was five to six lacs. There are many companies like Amazon, Cognizant, etc., that come to this college for jobs.

Placements: This year, 2024, only 75% students are placed due to recession in the industry. The highest package offered is 20 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Accenture, Cognizant and many other good companies visited our college for recruitments. More than 89% students are getting internships from companies such as Bharat petroleum, Indian oil and others We got roles of Data Scientists, Data Analyst and others.

Placements: Approximately 95% of the students got placed. But as we know that this year, the recession is high, even then the placements were good. Average package offered is 6 lacs. Top recruiting companies are PWC, Accenture, Jio, Airtel, IBM, Infosys, etc. Over 90% students got internships in my course.

Placements: More than 95% students got placed in 2023. The highest package was 40 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA and the average package offered was 5.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, Amazon, etc. Around 60-70% students got internships at Tata Steel and many other Startups.

Placements: Every year, 95% of students get placed in different IT or software companies like Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, TCS, WIPRO, IBM, Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, and L&T Infotech. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the average package is 5.75 LPA. The TPO is very helpful.
