    A:

All these colleges under the University of Delhi, namely Hindu, Hans Raj and LSR are considered to be the top colleges for Arts, Science and Commerce education. The following table contains a fee range and median salary comparison of Hans Raj College with other top colleges of DU offering BA & BA (Hons) courses:

    College Name

BA & BA (Hons) Fee Range

BA & BA (Hons) Median Salary

    Hans Raj College

    INR 540*

    INR 6.50 LPA

    Hindu College

    INR 52,680 - INR 52,770*

    INR 7.11 LPA

However, the median salary offered at all the three is closed to each other with Hindu being on the top. Hence, students are required to consider the return on investment by comparing the overall fee and return salary to make a final decision. The final decition must also depend on the availability of the specialisation that a sudent is willing to get into and other factors, such as location proximity with their residence, preference of course available, among others

    AN overview of Hansraj College.
Placements: Commerce students do get good placements from Hansraj College. Our college also makes great options for UPSC government exams and further studies. Many students end up getting admission in IITs and similar good institutions. I will proceed with doing CA or something similar.
Infrastructure: In the entire north campus, our college has one of the best infrastructure. Facilities of Wi-Fi, labs, classes and library are good but the Physics labs are not much good. Classes do have ACs and the library is very good. Hostel facilities and canteen are present in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is overall great. The course is curriculum relevant but it does not make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not too difficult but it is hard to score good marks in them.

    Humara Hansraj - My identity!
Placements: As my course is a B.A. program in history+economics, with an economics major, we have an opportunity for placement in top companies that offer the highest packages. You have an opportunity to do internships with the guidance of top companies' mentorship programs, which is helpful in your future life.
Infrastructure: We have a departmental society where we have many opportunities, and we have a separate departmental room. Wi-Fi is provided on the college campus and in the library, and we also have access to many books. We have medical facilities and a sports ground in our college, and the canteen food is good.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful and qualified; they provide their best efforts to us. This course is suitable for those students who want to go into civil services or the private sector. The semester exams are manageable, not so difficult if you study regularly, and the minimum pass percentage is 55-65%.
Other: I chose this course to crack the civil services exam, and the best thing about this course is that it covers all the bases for competitive exams. The Hansraj College fest, Confluence, is very exciting and entertaining. The students participate in extracurricular activities, which gives them opportunities in those fields as well.

    Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am an economics honor student; in my course, almost 10 to 15% students placed every year. The highest package of our college is 33 Lacs, the lowest is 3.5 lacs, and the average package is 8 Lacs. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Deloitte, Wipro and Infosys. I don't have any idea about internships yet. The top roles offered in our course are general manager, etc.
Infrastructure: For our course, our personal library is there. Classrooms and Wi-Fi are provided. There are two hostels in our college, one for girls and the other for boys. Hostels are livable. The quality of food is also good in our college hostel, and medical facilities are there. For sports and games, big fields and sports complexes are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers of our course are highly qualified and helpful; they provide us with knowledgeable content. The course curriculum is very relevant and anyone who pursues this course has some kind of respect in others eyes. Our college exams are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is 90%.

Obviously the best college in North campus.
Placements: Only a few courses provide placements, like economics honors and B.Com honors. The placement rate is very low, but the highest package is wonderful. Approximately 20 lacs per annum was the highest at any time. If you are in a different course, you can also get placement, but you have to join the placement society.
Infrastructure: The library and classrooms are good. Canteen and first-aid facilities are also available. The library is open from 8 AM to 5 PM. Almost all books are available. Wi-Fi is not available across the whole campus. I didn't visit any labs, but I saw that they were good. There is a big auditorium.
Faculty: The professors are very knowledgeable, there is no doubt. They are well-qualified and follow all the rules during teaching. For example, the EVS teacher took us to the park to see nature and species of trees. The teachers are also very cooperative and are available all the time for you for anything.

Here, I have given a short brief about the Hansraj College.
Placements: In our college, 70% of students were placed and the highest package was of 20 lakh and the lowest was of 8 lakh and the top recruiting company was Infosys. The companies are always here to find their manager and some vice president who can grow their company at the growth rate.
Infrastructure: The labs are awesome. They have AC labs, and the Wi-Fi facilities are awesome for students. The hostel food is quite good and hygienic and the medical facilities here are so awesome that none of any student can be ill here. Also, the sports faculty is good as well.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and the quality of their teaching is far better than that of other university teachers. Also, there is no difficulty in exams. If we hesitate to give exams due to some reason, the teachers are ready to give us motivation and move us to the right path.
Other: Our branch students were only there for study and the college proved them right.

My honest view on my college.
Placements: Our college has moderate placement levels, with an average package of 8 lacs and the highest package ranging from 35 to 40 lacs. Around 60% of students secure placements, and we have a wide range of visiting companies, including Gshaw, Dell, Mckenzie, and more. Our college offers excellent internship opportunities, with renowned companies like Dell, Noise, Reliance, and others frequently visiting our campus. The average stipend for internships is 5,000. Placements at our college offer various roles, including consultant, finance, HR, and more.
Infrastructure: The classrooms have excellent ventilation, while the sports facilities are extensive. The hostel facilities are of good quality, although the rooms are small but furnished with a table and chair. The average meal quality is provided, but there are no air conditioning or theater facilities. The registration process is simple, requiring the completion of a form to allocate a hostel.
Faculty: The course curriculum encompasses practical and theoretical subjects, ensuring a well-rounded education. The faculty-student ratio stands at 1:40, allowing for personalized attention. The highly qualified teachers hold Masters and Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields, and are also net qualified. The exams are held twice a year and are designed to be easily manageable.
Other: I opted for Economics hons as I was a Science student but had a keen interest in learning commerce subjects. Hence, I decided to pursue this course. The annual fest, Confluence, takes place in March and offers a wide range of books and journals in its well-managed library. The campus life is enjoyable, and the social scene is vibrant with active societies and clubs.
