Review of Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Okay so my course was in Sanskrit, so obviously we didn't get any placements from the college. That is the reality of our course; we have to do well in academics in long run to even be qualified for a job in this field. But one thing I will say is that Hansraj's Sanskrit faculty will make you ready for all the future obstacles.
Infrastructure: Wifi works fine, and the password is also provided in the library, which is very well structured and maintained with good washrooms but other washrooms are trash. Classrooms are okayish; AC works whenever the principal wants. I didn't live in the hostel but went there one time and the infrastructure and cleanliness were very good.
Faculty: My course's faculty is the best of all, always helpful and the best in their respective fields. The curriculum was also relevant but should be broader for future preparation. Semester exams are not very difficult and people pass with a good percentage.
Other: The best thing about this course is the eye-opening and hidden knowledge of my own country's history. I would wish that internal politics would not affect the hiring process of the professors but sadly it does. We had a festival this year; it was iconic. Campus crowd and surroundings are nice. Our societies are our main attraction.

Satisfied with the faculty and experience of learning.
Placements: In our course placement has not been held but placement cell is good on our campus. There is no placement in our course but the placement percentage of students is average and companies that come for placement provide students good packages on their experience and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure and provide good facilities at labs and library. There are also Wi-Fi facilities available in the lab and library. The hostel is good and the mess and canteen food is average, the medical facility is good and sports and games are available of all types.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students ready for industries. It is a moderately difficult semester exam in the college and the passing percentage is 35% i.e., theory + practical/ internal + assignment.

Hansraj College is worth studying at Delhi University.
Placements: As we are in a theoretical subject and here we got not at all placements during the college period. It's the best college to start your journey as a job aspirant for the future. Though all other practical subjects students got their placements with about 18 LPA packages.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the necessary infrastructure which is required for students' comfort. Hansraj College has a multi-floor library; one for Science and another for Arts & Commerce students. It has clean and good classrooms which individually have smart boards. There's only a boy's hostel.
Faculty: All the faculty members are having keen knowledge of the subject they taught. I am studying B.A. Sanskrit honors from Hansraj college which I think it's the best place to study this subject. As we are encouraged to know more about how we make it worthwhile by attending the Aryasamaji Hawans.
Other: Hansraj College is best if you are interested in amazing campus life and a great academic career. Here you'll see different societies with different talents.

Overall, our college is the best.
Placements: The salary package is not offered in our course. I am from the Sanskrit course. Companies do not visit the college to hire students from our course.
Infrastructure: The canteen and classrooms are awesome. The college has a huge playground. The hostel facility is good.
Faculty: Our college has good teachers. They are well-educated and so much learned. The college conducts semester exams. The pass percentage is above 35%. In our curriculum, a lot of roles have been given, which is very good.

Overall, our college good in the country.
Placements: I think the placements in our college are very low. The placement cell has successfully completed another fruitful year of providing placements for the 2019-20 academic year. With a significant rise in the number of recruiters and the number of offers made on a high note, the institute witnessed the participation of well-known companies, including regular recruiters like the Big 4, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Brain Capability Network, DE Shaw and United Airlines. The highest package offered is 20.5 LPA by DE Shaw followed by Futures First, a first-time recruiter, offered a package of 12.4 LPA, whereas the average package is 5.7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are modern and have projectors. Each corridor has cameras. Wi-Fi is sometimes not working. The canteen of our college is small but good. But overall, the infrastructure is very good. The college has facilities for both outdoor and indoor games. It has a sports ground and a basketball court between the college and hostel premises. It also possesses an indoor badminton court and an indoor shooting range. The students have won university, state and national level championships in pistol shooting, archery (w), water polo, basketball, badminton, cricket etc. The college won the Chancellor's Trophy in 2003-2004, 2004-2005 and the last four academic sessions from 2011 to 2015. Overall, sports are excellent. Sports facilities are made available to all students under the program, Games For All.
Faculty: The faculty members are supportive and helpful. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various streams, like B.A., B.A. (Hons), B.Sc., B.Sc., (Hons), and B.Com (Hons) at the UG level, M.A., M.Sc. and M.Com at the PG level. It also offers job-oriented add-on certification courses like radio jockeying, anchoring and TV journalism, acting and filmmaking, mass communication, advertising and marketing. The college receives support under the strengthening component in relation to the Star College initiative of the department of biotechnology, Government of India. In addition to this, the college has worked on the future publication of the research journal "Hans Shodh Shikhar" to publish research in fields across the sciences, commerce and arts. The finance and economics research cell of our college also conducts programs to promote undergraduate research in these fields.
Other: Hansraj College has its own curiosity of campus, and its campus is always full of students. The college was founded on 26 July 1948 in memory of the prominent Indian Educator and Nationalist Mahatma Hansraj. Initially started as an institution for men, the college became co-educational in 1978. With over 3,000 students, it is one of the largest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. For years, Hans Raj College has been ranked among the top-10 colleges of India in all three disciplines. At the celebration of its 69th foundation day, Naveen Jindal, industrialist and alumnus, announced that Hans Raj College would become the first college to hoist the national flag on its premises. The college hoisted the Monumental Flag on 25 January 2017, which happens to be the second Monumental Flagpole in Delhi after CP. The flag was hoisted by Madhya Pradesh Naveen Jindal, an alumnus of the college and founder of Flag Foundation of India.
