Q:   Can I get into Harsha Institutions for MBA with 60 marks in Karnataka PGCET?

A:

Admission to Harsha Institutions for an MBA through Karnataka PGCET typically depends on the cut-off marks for the year, which can vary based on several factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance of the candidates.

With 60 marks, your chances will depend on how these factors play out in the current admission cycle. If the cut-off is lower this year, you might have a chance, but if it's higher, you may need to consider alternative options or colleges.

You can also check the previous year's cut-off trends or directly contact Harsha Institutions for the most accurate and updated information regarding your admission chances.

Life of a Harsha Institution Student.
Placements: 10% of college students got placement. The highest package is 4 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 2.5 LPA. No student got internships this year. The top role offered in my college is medical representative (MR). So, there are no companies requiring students. Students get placement in local medical shops/businesses.
Infrastructure: The library is good. Almost every book related to my course is available. Every class has a digital board, and teachers are also suitable with this. We have separate labs for every practical subject. We don’t have Wi-Fi facility. Our hostel is under construction, so its facility is not good. Facilities: hot/cold water, washing machines, shoe racks, kitchen, double-bed mirrors, study tables, and cupboards. Mess food: Sunday and Wednesday dinner is chicken, and all other days it’s boiled eggs with lunch and breakfast.
Faculty: We have a total of 8 teachers for almost 350 students. Some of our teachers are well-qualified, but most of them haven’t done their Masters. I think the curriculum of this course is not relevant to the real world because many students don’t get any jobs after this course. Our semester exam is very difficult, and almost 15-5% of students failed this time. The passing percentage is 75% this year.
Other: I chose this course because I want a drug license. The best thing about this course is that you can rent your drug license and earn some extra money. Our campus is in the middle of fields, so we get good connectivity. Scholarships: Only for Karnataka students is there a scholarship, and all other state students have state-based scholarships.

Really a good educational Institution.
Placements: 85% of students are placed in our course. The package offered during our admission was 2 LPA. As we are the very first batch of this Institution for B. Pharmacy course, our college has already made a partnership with all official procedures with many Pharmaceutical companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well designed. The labs and the classrooms are very well-equipped. Wi-Fi facility is also available along with a two-floor library. Hostel facility is appreciated with a proper mess system. Our own Institution's Hospital, Ramaiah Harsha Hospital, well known in Karnataka provides free checkup/consultation for their own students.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced. It's really a helpful course and if one is willing to go for industry, you are warmly welcomed to our Institution. Semester exams aren’t difficult if you study well. Pass percentage is 83% as of our first batch.
Other: I chose this course to develop keen interest towards medicines, formulation of drugs, etc. Animated modules for practicals would be more appropriate. Events, fest and every other festival is celebrated with enthusiasm.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2026

Good courses but bad college vibes.
Placements: 100+ students have taken admission in BCA. The college offers a Flagship programme (add on courses) with general BCA. The fee structure for BCA is 3.5 Lacs in total for 3 years. Flagship course costs an additional of 25k. Dell, Himalaya, Cipla, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Data analyst, computer engineer, etc. are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are great for BCA as the college has a newly built building just for the management courses. The hostel is average and the food is not that great. There is an annual sports meet which will last for over 3 days. There is also another annual function known as Harshotsava.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly newly recruited, so most of them lack experience. The course curriculum is fine, it does include updated subjects and makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not that hard. If we study properly with notes, the exams are easy to ace.
Other: The college is under the Bangalore University which is a bit strict. Opposite gender interactions are limited. There are cameras in every single corner of the college. The annual fest ‘Harshotsava’ is great which is the main attraction of this college.

Nice college to enjoy life.
Placements: In our college, 70% of students were placed. The salary packages vary from 4 to 6 LPA. Hospitals abroad and in the country, like Apollo Hospital, recruit nurses. Top role offered by this course is head nurse at different hospitals and if you want, you can achieve higher education.
Infrastructure: Hostel is wonderful. 1 room for 6 students. Library is accessible during college hours. Students have no access to Wi-Fi. Infrastructure is good. Clean hostel and surrounding environment with a beautiful garden and the night time is so beautiful.
Faculty: Teacher are very helpful. Curriculum is relevant and courses last for 4 years. Semester exams are not that tough if you study well. Semester exams are conducted well and the quality is good. Curriculum surely makes students industry-ready, but should improve more.
Other: There are good job opportunities. More practicals in curriculum.

Good for studying. You can take admission here.
Placements: Practical taken for every subject. One problem is this college has no personal hospital for practice. They take us to another hospital for practice. Good placement they provide. You have to study otherwise they take the seasonal exam every 2 months. You can choose this college for good education.
Infrastructure: The College campus is very beautiful and clean. But there is no canteen to have food. One place is there for having food but this is not sufficient for all students. Hostel rooms are good and clean but the fans are not working properly. The bathroom is not too good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and qualified. But not all, some are too inexperienced teachers. College called some external teachers for the class. Some come and provide notes for easy study. Some are too badly teaching their pronunciation not understandable property.
Other: College events and fests are too grand and well organised.

Very good college for your best upcoming bright future.
Placements: I am Rahul and am a 2022 passout at our college. The highest package is 10 lacs per annum; the top recruiting companies are Himalaya, Apollo and more. There are almost 97% of students who got internships, and roles such as head of hospital and nurses are offered.
Infrastructure: A very good infrastructure has been established and the hostel has been kept very hygienic and safe. The warden is very friendly with us and takes care of us in case of any type of discomfort. When disease strikes, the facility to wash clothes is very comfortable.
Faculty: A very good faculty, who are very experienced and have the best teaching skills I have ever seen. As for the lab, there are good lab facilities when our practicals are held, and the classes are held on a digital board with windows.
