HERITAGE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, KOLKATA: Placements, Feels, Campus Life, Clubs. All here.

Infrastructure: The overall campus is Wi-Fi connected, has a library and also has a digital library, stepped classrooms (AC and non-AC), and multiple labs (Physics, ECE, Chemistry, Mechanical, ED, Computer, etc.). HIT only has a girls' hostel on campus, the boys' hostel is outside the campus. HIT has a canteen where you can have snacks. It has excellent sports facilities with separate grounds for tennis, cricket (big and small), basketball, football, shooting, archery, etc., with dedicated coaches for each spor...

Studies are good but there is no college life and no fest and no events.

Infrastructure: In my college, labs are well maintained and fully modern. Labs are well-equipped with all modern technologies and Wi-Fi. There are almost 150-200 classrooms in my college apart from labs. The library is most beautiful, especially in my heritage campus. Hostels are not available for boys, only available for girls.

The college campus is good with all facilities, but the average placement is around 4 to 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: In heritage, facilities are good starting from the lab department; all are well-maintained. The infrastructure of this college is also good. The course duration is almost 4 years for B.Tech. In every corners of this college, you can get the Wi-Fi facility. In the library also.

The faculty is great. You really get a great environment. Very study-oriented. Placements are good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. You will get all the books you need in the library. There is also a digital library available, which you can access through your phone. The hostel food is average. The canteen serves good food. The canteen closes at 5 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Absolutely satisfied because of course outcomes, social connection, and placements in 2024.

Infrastructure: Facilities like AC rooms (for M. Tech students only), AC labs, a huge library with a vast collection, great Wi-Fi, and well-maintained classrooms are available. Hostel food and the environment are up to the mark, and the behavior of peers in the hostel is quite manageable.

The campus is excellent and faculty members are very helpful.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is the best in everything. Proper ground, canteen, Wi-Fi, everything is available. But one thing is that most classes don't have air conditioner. It's the only con in infrastructure. Rest everything is fine and one will get good exposure in our college life.

I would recommend joining this college if someone wants to join a private college.

Infrastructure: College tops this list when it comes to top private colleges in Kolkata. When it comes to infrastructure, it is good. They don't provide hostel for boys but they provide hostel facilities for girls.

Disappointing college life experience.

Infrastructure: College does not allow students to use the Wi-Fi. There are no air-conditioned facilities. Labs are well-equipped. Facilities like the library, hostel, canteen, and sports facilities are good. College conducts sports week every year, which is the only good thing. Medical facilities are not available on campus.

Absolutely loving college.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is fantastic, unlike colleges like IEM. It has a big playground as well; overall, the campus is huge. I used to travel from home, so I don't know much about hostels, but what I have heard is that hostels are like those in other average colleges, not much elite.

This college is not good for placement.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-organised. They are not too big but are spacious enough to sit. The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled, but the network is the worst, so no one uses it. There is no hostel facility for boys, so you have to take a hostel outside, which costs around Rs. 7,000 rupees per month. Students also take PG accommodations with other friends. There is a hostel facility for girls, but it is just average. The campus is very small, so there are very few sports grounds like cricket, football, ba...

This college is absolutely value for money.

Infrastructure: College campus is not very large, but the infrastructure is good. Classrooms are well-maintained, and the library is fully air-conditioned. Laboratories are equipped with proper tools and enough resources for practical work. The hostel has a very friendly environment, and rooms are comfortable. The food in the mess is good, but food at the canteen is awesome. Medical facilities are also available. Sports and games are supported, and some students even compete at the national level.

Overall, pretty good college and average placements.

Infrastructure: The faculty of the college is strong; some can improve their teaching. Most professors are experienced and knowledgeable. The quality of the instruction is pretty good. Hostels are not so good, but you can also rent the good nearby PGs. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty good.

Life at HITK - A new journey to explore.

Infrastructure: The classroom of HITK is good and will give a solid 4 out of 5 as the rooms are big and spacious with a capacity of 60-70 students. The Library of HITK is the best attraction for the students due to its ambience and the number of books are around 20k+. Wi-fi connection is available but is poor in ICT building and is strong in CB and CME buildings.

Everything about Heritage Institute of Technology, you need to know.

Infrastructure: 8 - 9 girls’ hostels were there, the boys’ hostel was outsourced which had 12 - 13 buildings. The course infrastructure was very big, including 3 buildings namely CME - civil, mechanical, and electrical, ICT-AEIE, CSE, ECE, IT, and the central building containing other departments.
