Placements: I got placed in Line India Limited, which is the manufacturer of industrial gases like oxygen, nitrogen and inert gases. They also set up plants like hydrogen generation plants, etc., in industries. Overall, placements in core companies are good, while the placements in the IT sector are outstanding.
Placements: The college has recorded 100% placements. Several IT companies like TCS, ITC, Capgemini, etc., visited the campus. Core companies like Godrej and commerce sectors like Amazon visited the campus. But, the core sector jobs are less. It is dominant. Once you get placed in a company, you are not eligible to sit for other companies.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. About 90% of the students got placed. Recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Everyone gets an internship from the college, and it's organised by the TnP cell of the college. People also opt for higher studies. Aptitude classes are organised along with soft skills and mock interviews. This helps students to develop the character and gain practical experience to face the interview.
Placements: Placements in college are good when compared to other private colleges. Around 500-700 students are getting placed in IT industries every year. But for the last few years, placements in core industries for chemical, electrical, electronics, civil, and mechanical are decreasing. Although 5-6 core companies visit every year to hire students, numbers are not that high.
Placements: The placement season was great at our time, TCS being the highest recruiter with around 500 students getting placed in the company. Later on, other companies such as Capgemini, ITC Infotech also came for recruitment. There was an Indian Navy pool campusing also in our college. Apart from this, Godrej Boyce had come too. The average package was around 3.5 LPA. 95 percent of the batch got placed.
Placements: Placements have been exceptional for our batch and in the senior batches as well. Mass recruiters along with a few product-based companies visited the campus for placements. The training and placement cell made sure almost all students got placed, be it on-campus or pool placements.
Placements: Placements were conducted in mass for all students in Heritage. The first preference was TCS, after which startups and companies like Cisco visited the campus to offer placements. Roles offered by TCS include digital integration, ITIS and IT roles. Packages offered were based on the CGPA of students at the time of placements (It was during our 6th semester). The highest package offered was approximately 6 LPA for people into digital, and the rest were offered 3.36 LPA.
Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Almost 60% of students were placed. The average salary package offered was 3 LPA. Main recruiters were TCS, CTS, Ericson, FusionCharts, etc. If you are thinking about placements, then this college is average. The TNP is poor and non-supportive. Average companies don't visit here, and the placement ratio has fallen drastically low than ever.
Placements: Placements are going pretty well, but no core company has visited the campus yet. I am waiting to be placed. Only IT companies have been visited the campus for placements till now. Many other students are waiting for the arrival of core companies. Many sales companies have also visited our college, like Byju's, Extramarks etc.
Placements: For my senior batch the placements were not that great. Core streams had to join IT. But for other branches the placements were good. Even in our batch the placements were good and average salary was 3.5lpa. Almost 30 companies visited for my batch and 85% of the eligible students were placed.
Placements: Our college provides very few chances to get placed for civil and mechanical branches. It is very good for the rest of the departments like ECE. There are 100% chances of getting placed in reputed companies. Good companies visit the campus for placements, but they prefer more CSE and ECE students rather than civil. Overall, our placements are good.
Placements: Placements in our college are decent. Mass recruiters and core companies visit the campus for placements. The average salary package offered ranged between 3.5-4 LPA. The training and placement office has good recognition. Students also get to attend different off-campus placement drives conducted on our campus.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Approximately 70-80% of the students get placed most of the times (the students who clear all the subjects). The very first company that visits and recruits many students is Tata Consultancy Services. The average salary it offers is around 3.3 LPA. Other companies like Larsen and Toubro offering 3.6-4.5 LPA and Star Cements also visit the campus. Some non-core companies also visit the campus. The placement cell is good, and you will get assistance from them re...
Placements: Our college has a pretty good and active placement cell. They invite reputed companies like IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS Digital, TCS, etc. Students, especially from the CSE department, have a record of 100% placements over the last few years. There's a special placement drive for women organised by the companies like Goldman Sachs, Wipro and IBM.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite okay when compared to other private colleges in Kolkata. TCS and Cognizant are mass recruiters of our college. They offered salary packages ranging from 3.25 LPA to 7 LPA, which is pretty decent for a fresher. Mostly software companies visited for recruitment. So the students from all the engineering branches were placed in a software company which is a drawback for the students belonging to the core branches.
Placements: Placements in HIT-K are good for core branches like CSE, IT and ECE. Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, etc., have visited our college. TCS recruits almost 50-60% of the students. The average salary package offered is almost 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum for core branches. I don't know much about other departments, but if you choose core branches, HIT-K is a good option.
Placements: TCS has been our mass recruiter for the last few years. More than 300 students have already been placed in TCS this year. Many other companies like Dell, HP, Samsung, etc., also participate in our recruitment process. Our training and placement cell takes responsibility for each student's training and placement process if the student scores well in his/her semester exams.
Placements: Placements at Heritage College are very good. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit our college every year. Apart from these companies, some start-ups also visit the campus. The average salary package offered to freshers is 3.20 lacs per annum. In 2017, 80% of the students got placed.
Placements: Mainly, IT companies visit our college and recruit a great percentage of students. TCS is one such company which recruits around 300 students every year. Tech Mahindra, IBM and Wipro are some of the other companies that conduct campus placements in our college. Often, Infosys also visits our college to conducted placements. A few core companies like Line, Voith Paper, Star Cement also visit our college to conduct campus placements. Sometimes, Haldia Petrochemicals and Burger Paints also recruit ...
Placements: Placements in our college are below average. Mainly, TCS visited the college as a mass recruiter. Apart from that, campusing for core branches is very bad as barely any company visits for them. The training and placement cell team is very inefficient. During our placements, around 60% of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA by Bosch, but it was for a sales profile, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.2 LPA by TCS, ITC etc. Mainly, IT companies visited ou...
