Satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement of the college was good. Several companies visited our college for recruitment. Polaris. TCS and several startups visited my college. They give 100 percent placement. The average package was 3.2. There were several pre placement session to prepare us for placement.

If you want to do engineering in Kolkata, it is the best college after Jadavpur University.

Placements: The college has excellent placement records. Top companies hire the students from this college like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. TCS alone hired 510 candidates out of 620 in 2017. The average package is 3.65 Lacs per annum. IT companies are the prime recruiters, other than that, the core companies also do hire from here.

It is an institute where learning is an interactive evolutionary process.

Placements: The placement cell of Heritage Institute of Technology is very efficient. The placement of our batch is very good, and 99% of the students got placed. The main recruiters of this college are TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, ITC Infotech, Microsoft, Century Ply, ICICI Bank, etc. The college provides very interesting projects. They also provide training and internship from various renowned companies for all students.

Heritage, a place were you will get a great environment as well as good place to study.

Placements: Being in Civil, if you are thinking of getting a job in a core company then you are going to get disappointed. But companies like godrej do visit for campusing and also offer a decent salary. But the college's main point of attraction is the IT sector. But the faculty members of this department are highly qualified as well as are really hard-working. The college has started focusing on its loop holes and sooner there will be Civil core companies campusing in HITK.

Average college in Kolkata with enough Infrastructure.

Placements: Placement this year has already started and quite fair amount of offers have come to the seniors. The majority of offers have come from mass recruiters like TCS who gave away placements to average guys also having 7 pointers. Almost 40% of the batch was placed in either Cognizant or Wipro or TCS. Many startups and new IT firms also came for recruitment like OYO, FLIPKART etc. The companies offered training initially and then they would offer a job location which may or may not be inside the stat...

Really Good Infrastructure and faculty members and a place where you get good placements.

Placements: Placements are really good at Heritage. Top brands like TCS, Tech Mahindra, IBM and several core companies like Cisco, Polaris visited our college. Majority (Around 500+) got placed at TCS. Around 50 in TechMahindra and around 12 in IBM. And 1 guy even got placed at Robert Bosch. Average salary offered was 3.37 lacs per annum. And the highest salary offered was 5 lacs per annum. Most of the students got placed with the role of Assistant system Engineer. Around 80% students got placed. Tequip are...

Heritage Institute of technology - A heritage in making.

Placements: Placement in IT companies is very easy as mass recruitment occurs via TCS, Wipro and Infosys. Apart from that core companies do come like Godrej, Star cement and Sarachi and one can expect an average package of 4LPA which is quite better than most Engineering colleges in Kolkata.

Good infrastructure but placement is low for core department.

Placements: Most of the students are placed in IT company, among rest few are placed in a core company like Godrej, Tega, Norton, Star cement, Plastic Abhiyanta, Waker, and few are placed in sales sector like Extramark. Placement has improved for mechanical as compared to last year, In 2015 batch around 90% eligible students were placed, this year it may be around 80%.

Don't come to Heritage Institute of Technology looking for jobs: that will be a risky decision.

Placements: If you are coming here with a hope of getting a job from college after completing degree from here, please don't come. I am a student here and I know the scenario well. They solely depend upon TCS for mass recruitment and don't care much about bringing other companies to college. The Training and Placements cell in the college is arrogant, unprofessional, unfriendly, non-cooperative and expect them to sit back and ruin the opportunities for you while you see students of other colleges are gettin...

Overall, it is an average college, but placement it is the worst.

Placements: There is a very poor placement record for civil engineering branch. The companies which come for recruitment are either IT companies or sales and marketing. There are lots of students in civil engineering, but not even 10% of the total students get placed this year. I didn't understand why they give admissions if they can't give jobs.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the heritage of academic performance.

Placements: In the college TCS, Infosys and wipro are normally come in zero slot campusing. Other than those many of the IT and core companies are come in the placement cell of the college. More than 85% students nornally got placed in many of the IT and core companies. So, placement is very good for this college.

College is really good if you are not getting into nit or iit.You will enjoy the college life here.

Placements: Placement is almost average not so good. Every one gets placed in tcs with 4 to 5 lacs package. But the scenario is relatively better than any other college of west Bengal. It is still better if you do not get any engineering to get into. Placement is better for CSE and it department. Mech and civil branch suffers a lot during placements.

Heritage Institute of Technology - Beware! Think twice before joining!

Placements: Placements used to be good in the previous years, but mostly that was in IT companies. But since this year, with the change in recruitment policies of IT companies, campus recruitments have degraded severely. Core companies for branches like Chemical, Biotechnology, Mechanical are rarely found in campus recruitments and the ones which come for recruitment mostly offer posts in sales, business management etc.

One of the best private colleges in WB.

Placements: TCS took 508 of 510 students from 2016 and 2017 pass out batch respectively. The core industry for instrumentation doesn't come to this college! To get a job in IT industry, this is a good college! Mainly TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc., come to the college. About 80% students get placed in TCS. The highest salary offered was 3.34 LPA.

The highest salary that have been offered was 4 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 2.5 Lacs per annum. Heritage is the best private college in West Bengal.

Placements: The placements on the campus are decent. TCS is the mass recruiter of our college. About, 60% of the students got placed in the slot 0 itself. However, it is difficult to get a job if you fail TCS. Also, the placement isn't 100%, and it is around 80-85%. The companies that come for the recruitment are 95%, which are IT companies.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the campus with a difference.

Placements: The placement cell of the college continuously coordinates with various industries and organisations for placements of its students. The placement rate for the last five years is successively increasing. Last year, the maximum students were placed at day 0, while TCS still holds the position of recruiting the most number of students with a pretty good package per annum and other companies like Tech Mahindra, Nestle, and Extra Dark also stand in the queue.

Placements: Placement is almost 100% in our college. Tcs come as a mass recruiter. Mostly IT companies come for campusing. Placement of our senior batch was awesome. 85% of total student have got placed with the highest package of 6lpa. Average package is 2.5-3.0 LPA.
