Some faculty members are good but 40% faculty are not able to teach.

Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, an average student can easily get the placements. There are very few placements in the core branches, and it is a problem of every college. If you are a serious student, you may also get a core placement. In any college, about 20% top students in the core stream can easily get the placement.

The best private college in West Bengal with good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are provided basically in IT sectors only. If you have taken any of CSE, IT or ECE here, and you do your engineering sincerely, it is assured that you will get the job in IT sectors. Apart from the IT sectors, for the core departments like civil, electrical and mechanical, you need to accept the fact from the very beginning that either you're going to be a software guy, or better you start preparing for GATE and other competitive exams. The average salary offered is 3lac per annum...

Best infrastructure in West Bengal. It has good placements and good environment for studying.

Placements: The placement of college is not bad. Many companies come to recruit students from the college this year. Almost 400 students got selected in different companies among 900 students. Mainly TCS and Mahindra recruited students from our college.

Life of a student with full of fun a lot of things to learn.

Placements: The placements are not too good. It is not more than 65%. The major recruiter is TCS company, but the salary structure is below 3.45 Lacs per annum. The core companies do not come, so it is a big problem for mechanical, electrical and civil students. Very few other companies come, but they recruit 3 or 4 persons and give the salary less than 4 Lacs.

Heritage is an autonomous college in Bengal.

Placements: The placement in my college is well enough. The best way to get placed in Heritage is to maintain GPA above 7.0, it is the minimum aggregate required to sit in the placements. If you have more than 7.0 GPA, then most of the companies will probably allow you to sit. Several companies visited Heritage in the previous year, i.e., 2017. Companies like Godrej took three students, alike mass recruiter TCS took more than 500 students. The college will not allow sitting in another company"s interviews o...

A review on Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: In this department, you can get about 80-90% placement, and the majority of these are software-based companies, generally, TCS. Some of the students qualify GATE or CAT only because of their hard work, but the college wants to highlight that we have produced this number of students in this competitive exam, and that is heartbreaking for students.

Partially satisfied due to poor placements and small campus.

Placements: The major recruiter is TCS, but 5 to 7 LPA is offered to almost 50 students. The company present in the headquarters in Kolkata offered more packages to the students. The companies like Godrej and Petroleum Industry offered the highest packages. The highest package was 12 LPA. There is a placement cell. The student gets the internship from NJIT and another reputed university.

The review of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: Companies like TCS, Wipro mainly comes here. Moreover, last year Akash Institute also offered the job, and the salary package was Rs. 6 LPA. Almost every year TCS comes to the college. Last year there was the huge selection, In this year they also have a strict interview and selected fewer students.

As honest review of my college as possible.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of ECE students were placed last year in TCS. But for branches other then IT and CSE the placement was poor. Other companies like Capgemini, All state and wipro came but theit placement was between 10 and 15 sutdents. Major IT companies like google, amazon, microsoft, apple has never came to heritage institute of technology.

Learn a lot apart from studies.

Placements: Overall good placement provided by this private institution, average package 4 to 4.5 Lacs and if you choose instrumentation engineering in HITK then it would be your better decision of life because you are going to learn a lot. It is the stream which introduces us with the mechanism of a system, college will always inspire u a lot to move ahead and achieve something u deserve.

One of the best college life.

Placements: Our senior's placement was history as 512 students got placed at TCS. This time, due to a recession, only 350 students have been taken by TCS and 200 by the others. Still, the placements are going on for this batch. Almost, 80-90% of the students got placed every year. There are many opportunities for pool campusing as most of them take place at Heritage.

Top class infrastructure with lots of extracurricular activities.

Placements: The placements in Heritage are good. Around 70-75% of the students get placed. Last year, around 80% of the students got placed. And this year, 70% + are getting placed. The average salary offered is 3.3 lacs per annum. The internships are done by the students on their own. The college does not provide special facilities for the internship.

Overall, Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata is a good college to study.

Placements: Mostly, the students got placed in software companies ( mainly TCS ). Very few students got placed in the departmental companies. Overall, the placements are average. Four or five departmental companies came at that time, and they took very few students. Most of the students from our batch went for the software jobs.

Our faculty are the best. The placements are not that good in this year compared to previous years.

Placements: The placements were good. TCS was the first company to come to our campus. They took 323 people, i.e. almost 50% of the college. Wipro also came, but they took only 11 people. ITC, Infotech recruited only 3 people. Many other companies came to the college. Each took 2-3people. Overall 60-65% students are placed as of now. The placements of the senior batch were better. TCS took 80% of the last year students. Overall, last year almost 90% of the students got placed.

Satisfied with the facilities and faculty.

Placements: I was a little bit disappointed with the placements and the companies they bring. All the big IT giants like TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit, and they take 90% of the students. Hardly, 1-2 core companies come, and they place a handful of students. The placements need to improve drastically.

Not the pretty picture that will be painted for you to see.

Placements: The placements are good, but on paper only. For almost every batch, HIT has managed to hit a 100%, but that is majorly due to mass recruiters taking over 300 students a year. Once you get placed, you are not allowed to participate in the placement drive, to which people were stuck with a TCS job and weren't able to sit for interviews with companies more suited to their skill set. Engineers from all backgrounds were pushed into the IT field. The highest salary was around 8 LPA, with the lowest be...

Review of Heritage, Kolkata.

Placements: The placements offered in our college are good. For core branches, mainly Godrej, Mahindra and Bosch visit the college. They give good perks. But, it is tough to get hired because they select few candidates. For non-core students, mainly TCS or Wipro visits the college. You can give an interview in the company of your interest.

This college is worth of the money.

Placements: Many service-based companies came to the campus for the placement like TCS, Wipro, One State Solutions Pvt Ltd, etc. Many of the core companies also came such as Godrej, Star cement and many more. Other companies or institute also came for hiring such as Indian Army, Akash Institute, etc. Approximately, 60-70% students of the core branch get placement and 70-80% placements in CSE, ECE, It.
