The Best college of East region.

Placements: The Placements of this college are best. 95% of the students got placed every year, and the rest are going to start their startup. Even the core placements are incredible. In my word, It should be the best college in the east region of India. The students get a good internship from the college. The college not placed the students in the industry but also creates some great minds.

The pros and cons of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placement has been fine for last few years. TCS has been the major recruiter in the campus, but this time due to the fall in the IT sectors the recruitment has not been too appreciable for every department equally. The biotechnology department has faced a huge problem in placements. The process is still on, and I hope remains. Around 6 people have been selected are placed in TCS and others in the department which accounts for around 50 more students I still and placed in biotechnology depart...

A good college if you are of middle-class and couldn't make it to other reputed colleges.

Placements: The placements are average overall, but considering only West Bengal, it is good. Well, it actually depends on what you expect from the college. The average package for all the streams is same and it is approximately 3-4 lacs pa as mass recruitment. Other development and product based companies also come but I have not seen many seniors getting placed in such companies. Most people (9/10), get that same salary and mostly even get the same company (i.e. TCS), but this is about on-campus as the st...

It is the best college of West Bengal.

Placements: Already 70% students got placed, and this placement process continues. Many students are placed in his/her dream job. Many students were selected in two companies, and they choose their favourite company. This college stands top 5 in West Bengal. So, if you mark well throughout the semester, and if you have a clear knowledge about your stream, you will surely be placed.

One can a great college life with hopefully a bright future.

Placements: Most of the placements were in the IT sector. 40% to 50% of the students were placed in the campus selection. The average salary offered was Rs. 4 lakhs PA. There aren't sufficient placements in the core branches. There is a placement cell which arranges for the summer internship. However, only a few of the students get the stipend.

Great infrastructure, average placements, good faculty members and good facilities.

Placements: The placements are pretty good especially in the department I study in. TCS is the mass recruiter for the past 2 years. We are yet to have placements in the 7th semester. Two years before, 100% of the computer science students were placed in TCS. This year, it was lower than the previous year. The placement cell is efficient but could be more active.

Our college is good, but don't expect something marvellous.

Placements: The placement statistics are average. Most of the mass recruiting companies like Wipro, TCS act as the saviour to almost all branches taking them at 2-4lakh per annum. The difficulties are faced by non-computer related branches, civil and mechanical. For a statistics, approximately only 10-15 students got placed in core companies.

Our college is average. Don't expect marvellous life after 4 years, and it will be just good.

Placements: The placement statistics are quite average here. I meant to say that don't expect 8 LPA or 9 LPA or something. The placements of CSE branch is good here. Almost 70% percent of the students of CSE get placed with 5 LPA to 6 LPA and after that mechanical branch comes. The civil students suffer very badly here as in the last year only 10 or 15 got placed and that too in some generic IT company with 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

The college is the best, but something to be managed and maintained or should be retained.

Placements: The placement in my college from this year is well enough. So the mass recruiters like TCS, or sometimes Wipro go through the campus and place some of them according to their requirement. Some companies like Tega, TCS, etc. visit the campus this year 2017. For the mechanical guys, the companies like Godrej placed three students in a package of 5.2 LPA. If a student got placed, he or she would not be allowed to sit or even try in the other companies.

The placements and the faculty of the college are good.

Placements: Almost the whole batch got placed in TCS with an average package of 3.4 LPA. Once placed, you won't be able to sit for the next company. Quite some companies came with a greater package, but only a few were allowed to sit for them. The core companies don't visit often. The highest package offered was 6.7 LPA. If placements are more important to you than college life and facilities, prefer IEM over Heritage. None-the-less, almost every deserving candidate, aiming for placements got placed either ...

One of the best private engineering colleges in town.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. Around, 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered is five lacs per annum. Tata Consultancy Services is the mass recruiter on the campus. In 2017, 512 students got placed in TCS only. Also the other companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra come for the campus placements. Although, this year, TCS took only 325 students from the college.

The college is autonomous, and almost every facility is available in the college.

Placements: Many companies come here, but the company from IT sector recruit on a very large scale. Most of the students are placed in IT sector. About 90% of total placement are from IT sector. Placement in the core sector is less. The core branches like EE, ME, and CE are also placed in IT sector.

In short the college is enjoyable with a great placement opportunity.

Placements: For the last two batches placements were better than this year. This year TCS came for the on-campus recruitment followed by Wipro also. Godrej and Boyce have come for the pool interview. There were companies like All state Network solutions, Manikaran etc. We have a perfect and interactive TPO and the other madams, who helped us to get the internship, the college offered to pay the maximum of RS.3000 per student.

TCS is the mass recruiter, faculty dissatisfies, infrastructure is a feast to the eyes.

Placements: If you are at HIT Kolkata, then the mass recruiter will be the TCS in case of the placements. Expect nothing more when it comes to on-campus placement, but if you are a hard worker, then you can have the choice of an off-campus placement. Also, the internships offered by the college are quite good. Lastly, you have to work hard.

Placements: The placements here was average & around 70% of the students got placed here. The highest, average and the lowest salary offered are Rs. 9 lakhs, Rs. 3.2 lakhs & Rs. 2.2 lakhs per annum respectively. Around, 8-10 companies have visited out of which some were the core while the others were the IT. The most important thing is that the campus is ragging free. So, it is a nice place.

Placements: I'm from the mechanical department. About, 70% of the student got placed on the campus. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the average package is in between 3-4 LPA. Most of the top companies visit the campus to hire. Some of them are Infosys, TCS, Microsoft. The placement cell is good. But the less package is offered by the companies. The college gives the opportunity to most of the students.

Good placement and faculty. Satisfactory in all the aspects.

Placements: Overall, the placement in 2017 has been 75 % to 80 % with an average of Rs. 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. The highest package here till now for 2017 has been Rs. 10.5 Lakhs in off-campus placements in Microsoft. Overall, the placement here has been good in every stream. The most placement holding stream this year was mechanical. As of my stream of EIE, students were also placed well in different IT as well as core instrumentation branches in India and abroad.

Placements: From our batch, only 5 students got selected for TCS company and 1 got selected for Aakash. Many companies are still visiting. More than 60% of the students usually get placed. The companies visiting our campus includes TCS, Godrej, Aakash, Edwisor, etc. The highest salary went up to 6-6.5 Lacs per annum. And the lowest is 3.5 Lacs per annum. 40% of the students got an internship from college. No stipend was offered. The placement cell is available.

One of the best college of West Bengal where one can afford, learn, and develop their own skill.

Placements: The placements offered are almost good. TCS and other best multiple multinational companies visit the campus. The packages are offered almost between 4-5 lacs per annum. The placements used to happen nearly in the month of November-December. A lot of students in 2k17 were placed in TCS which is one of the best company in India. Mainly, this company used to hire the students from the computer science, electronics and communication department.
