The Hindustan Aviation Academy, Bangalore (HAA Bangalore), founded in 1983, is a part of Hindustan Academy which also operates Hindustan Electronics Academy and Hindustan Business School. Located in Bengaluru, Hindustan Aviation Academy is a private institution.
The Hindustan Aviation Academy offers three Aircraft Maintenance courses. These programmes are approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation and affiliated to Bharathiar University. Students pursuing Licensed AME courses are provided training and experience on Live Operational Aircraft and Simulators (MFTD) such as Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Cessna, Bell, etc. HAA has long term agreements with IndiGo Airlines and Airworks India Engineering Pvt Ltd for providing training.
Among the various facilities provided, the Academy offers boys & girls hostel (en-suite facilities as well), radio, electrical and instruments laboratories, etc. It also has a well-equipped library, state-of-the-art research and training facility, along with in-house developed Flight Simulator for training purposes. The Academy has an optimum student-teacher ratio of about 25:1 with expert faculty members hailing from reputed institutions.
