Review of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Around 10-20% of students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The placement percentage changes yearly according to the potential of the batch students. Top recruiting companies are IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Self-study is the most crucial thing to get a job at this college.

Review of Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The IT and CSE students highly got placed in our college. Companies offer the highest and lowest salary packages. Many startup companies visit our college to recruit students. Almost 80-90% of students got placed in our department. Students should apply for internships by themselves or pay the amount.

It is an an average college with strict staff members.

Placements: Most of our seniors in our department got placed. There is no problem with placements. Salary packages typically range between 2.4 and 7 LPA. Internships are allowed in our college right away from the first year, and even the staff would recommend a company if you don't get an internship.

The college has really good infrastructure.

Placements: Almost every student who doesn't have any history of arrears and has good communication skills will get placed. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Royal Enfield, Eicher etc. Students who are interested can go for internships with the bonafide provided in the college.

Not satisfied with college education but love and learnt a lot in the project works.

Placements: There are various programmes conducted to improve the quality of education like BAJA, Efficycle, SUPRA, Hybrid Vehicle and Solar Vehical competitions and paper presentations. We can learn more on such extra curricular activities than in the boring classes. About 60% of people got placed in various IT companies and some very few core companies and many got internships in various companies like Hiro Tech, L&T, Messer. Students got placed in Messer, L & T, TVS companies. I got internship in Hiro Te...

I suggest not to choose mechatronics department.

Placements: If you need a job in your domain, it is impossible to get. If you have a good score, you can get into any one of the software companies. There may be some companies related to your domain, but the salary offered will be Rs. 8,000-12,000 per month. The placement scenario is the worst.

Our college is not bad when compared to the colleges situated in this area.

Placements: A lot of IT companies are visiting our campus nowadays for placements. During the time of my joining, only a few companies used to visit our campus. However, every year, the placement officer is working very efficiently to invite a good number of companies to our campus. Almost half of the IT branch students were placed.

Totally dissatisfied with faculty performance, lack of lab facility & also placements.

Placements: Only IT industries came and no core companies came. The only known big company which is Cognizant Technology Solutions. Internship was arranged by students individually nothing made by the college. Ya placement cell was there. It is not efficient as it looks like.

The average college with lots of fun activities.

Placements: The placement on the campus is not bad. There are 1,500 members in the final year, but only 300 people were placed. Mostly, IT and CSE department students got placed. The mechanical placements are zero. In our EEE department, only 20 students got placed out of 120. The average package is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 4.5 LPA.

If you are passionate about the subject and want to do something, then choose this college.

Placements: I don't think that the placements are great but good. If you choose the subject like mine, the campus placement would be a dream. But, if you are passionate about the subject knowledge, then you have many opportunities to improve it and excel in it. If you are a person, who loves freedom and loves to work, then you can choose this college. It would be an excellent choice for you.

Pros and cons of HICET, Coimbatore.

Placements: The placement facilities are good. The companies visiting the campus are less. Even the companies taking the students are also low compared to the last year survey. The companies are expecting more from the students. The placement cell in our college is just updating themselves soon. The placements in our college will be better.

It is an average college.

Placements: The placements offered were not at all good. The job is only arranged for the circuitry departments. Rest all have to find the off-campus drive. From my branch, the campus drive taken were fewer. We have tried a lot to find the basic jobs. Still, we are existing reason is the placement cell.

Partially satisfied with the faculty and good placements for CSE and IT. Average facilities.

Placements: The placements are very good in my college. Nearly 40 to 50% of the students got placed. The salary is between 2 lacs to 6 lacs per annum. Companies like CTS, Tech Mahindra, Prodapt, Payoda visited our college for recruitment. Roles of programmer, trainee, program developer, etc. were offered to the students. Nearly 50 to 60% of the students got an internship from the college in all the departments. No stipends were provided by the college.

Good college to study if you are really interested. Good for courses like CSC, IT and ECE. No placements for Mech, Aero, Civil and EEE. Fees is average. College location is excellent and Hostel is also good. Faculty members will help, but it is in your hands to decide. Hostel food is bad for boys. Advantage: college location, No traffic, superb infrastructure, moderate fees.

Not having good Infrastructure, and no proper Lab facilities. Full brand name and no qualified faculty members. Organize Cultural fests by inviting cine celebrities. College prepares you for life to come and higher education over there does not motivate us with respect to that. Extra fee is charged for laptops, laptop insurance and student insurance. When students enquire, then Management for Laptop Insurance never utter a single word. Administrative staff does not provide us with a positive res...

Review on Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: In this college the placement is a little much lesser, and the highest package is 40 LPA. The major companies like HCL and Wipro are coming, so placement is not too bad. The faculty members are not too responsible and give attention to students. And they give more knowledge in general stuff.

I joined this college as it is the only college that offered mechatronics and with a low fee.

Placements: I had no problem with this college with its placements. It has a very good list of companies for students to get placed, and only the academically best students are selected in it. Placements are the only thing I would appreciate for joining this college. The way they prepare students for placements is also great.

Our college, infrastructure and climate are good, and it is a dream college for many students.

Placements: Many companies visit here for campus drives. The pre-preparation of the students and placement cell is not good. I request to improve the technical training and provide more offers for product-based companies. They are mainly focused on placements, but the quality is not good.

The college has a good environment and staffs. The administration and placement cell is the worst.

Placements: The placement was pretty average. The highest package offered for past batches was 5.5 LPA. The placement cell also had a single placement policy so you cannot attend any other company once you got placed. You had to pay a little amount to get placed.
