The teaching quality is pathetic. Our college doesn't encourage placements. The mess is the worst.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed, but only about 10% of the students got decent salary packages. The highest salary package was provided by Maruti Suzuki, and it was about 8 LPA. The lowest salary package of about 4 LPA was provided by Shapoorji Pallonji, excluding the mass recruiters which provided about 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was about 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Microsoft, Mentor Graphics, Uber, Amazon, Tata R&D, Samsung, and Wells Fargo. The internship percentage is not so good.

Curriculum and placements are worse.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good, but for civil engineering, it is worse than anyone can expect. Till now, no core civil construction company has come to recruit, but few consultancy type companies are visiting. As of now, the average salary package offered by the consultant companies is 8-9 LPA.

Placements: In our batch, 68 students got placed out of total 78. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA offered by Microsoft, and the average salary package offered might be around 7-8 LPA. Microsoft, CGI, Infosys and TCS were among the top recruiters from our college. I think below 15% of the students from our batch got internships.

Placements: Placements in this course are not that good. Only Vikram Solar visit here every year, and they also don't hire students from this branch on a regular basis. Other companies do not provide suitable jobs for this course. In our batch, students were not selected from campusing. However, with the effort of our renowned faculty members, some students got a chance to do an internship, and from it, some of them were placed. The salary package offered was around 3.25 LPA.

It is quite frustrating that after 5 years of hassle you are getting a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. But, it has nothing to do with college.
