Starting salary for B.Arch students is low.

Placements: The placement percentage is 100%. People after B.Arch generally work in architecture firms. Some students go directly for masters. Starting salary given by firms is very low compared to other streams. This is a professional course, and it is expected to open their own firm after gaining suitable experience.

A review on IIEST, Shibpur.

Placements: The placements for our batch were really good. We had 100% placements with most of the students getting their dream job. The highest package offered was around 6 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. We had companies from tech consulting to analytics firms, and the roles offered were mainly entry-level engineers. The college doesn't have a placement cell, students had to coordinate with the professors to get companies to the college.

Placements: Only software companies and Engineering Colleges recruits M.Tech Students. In mining and extra discipline branches some good placements are available. For B.Tech students it has very good placement in national and international companies like Google, HSBC Adobe etc. In undergraduate 90% placement and for post graduate it's around 40%. In undergraduate 100% student will get internship in the prestigious companies.

Perfect substitute to Jadavpur University in Kolkata.

Placements: The placements in our college are satisfactory and are similar to Jadavpur University. Although the students are not of that quality as in JU, still the college manage to keep its status not less than JU. The highest salary package offered was around 14 LPA. Some of the students got a package between 8-10 LPA. Most of the students were placed in MNC's. We have the bulk placements with an average package of 4-5 lakhs per annum.

Very well atmosphere for nourishing a student as well as a talent.

Placements: I got placed in BPC India civil engineering consultancy through an interview with reference from a professor. At the year I passed, 30% of the students were placed in core industry of civil engineering but I must assure that the quality they produce withinthe students, it's not even any issue if they try to find the jobs from outside the campus, they are so capable of earning the jobs as well as cracking the different types of exams. So many students are desired to continue their excellence in ...

An Institute of National Importance.

Placements: However the placement scenario of the college is good, but the placement of the department is average. Average package is 3lakhs/ annum. Mostly banking and financial Sector recruits from this department, but students are placed in other MNC' s also. The internship are provided to all the students at different reputed industries. Students are paid a lump sum during the internship and sometime they get some pre placement offers also.

Satisfied with other facilities, but mainly, unhappy with the placement structure.

Placements: The placements in our college are not up to the mark because the students do not get jobs in their respective core sectors, rather, most of the students get jobs in IT companies irrespective of their fields in which they have pursued the degree, which is the most embarrassing thing that occurs in placements. It has been a trend for the last few years. Students, even if they are not willing to take the job, have to accept it because there was no other option of getting placed through the campus. ...

Our college requires development in infrastructure, but overall, I am satisfied.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The maximum salary was Rs. 21 LPA and moreover the average package was Rs. 5 LPA. Multiple internships oriented programmes or sessions are being held to guide the freshers. Last years the placement records were fine. Upcoming years will be promising ones. 2017 marked with two Google and Micro-Soft placements.

Probably, this is the best architecture college in India if you want to enjoy.

Placements: Architecture doesn't have placements in any colleges, but the students get the excellent internships in the fifth year because of the alumni. Usually, the students go for higher studies or a startup architecture firm, but with the contacts, you get placed by the end of the fifth year, and your future is set.

It is the second oldest college in India, and it is a nice place to study.

Placements: Placements of the 2018 graduate batch are quite good, and placements started from August 17, and it is still going on. Almost all the students from IT and CS already got placed. Core companies also visit the campus. Comparably, the placements of electronics and aerospace branch are somewhat low this year in their core companies, but placements have boosted up a lot than the previous batch.

Placements: The college is witnessing a transformation earlier it was a state government college, and now it is under the central government and so are the placements. The highest number of students are placed from the computer science and IT department. Mechanical engineering stands next to them. The electrical department also gets a good placement and the civil department witnesses 50% placement. Institution review from a 2013 passout batch.

Placements: Placement cell is good now a days. They try to help fellow students to get their job. But I think that is not enough. Placement cell needs to be more proactive to schedule more interview for the students. Students of this institute have potential, placement cell must use that to place the students in some reputate companies.

The companies visited are TCS, CTS, IBM, Capgemini, Lexmark, Samsung, PWC, HSBC, Dynamic digital, RS Software. The maximum salary offered was 6-7 LPA, and the minimum salary is 3-3.3 LPA.

Placements: The placement was quite good. Most of the students have got placed. The average package offered was 5-6 LPA, and the minimum package offered was 3 LPA. On the other hand, the maximum package was around 12 LPA. Placements: The placements are moderate on the campus. Service-based MNCs like TCS, CTS, IBM, Ericsson, Capgemini, Wipro, etc., are the biggest employers that visit the campus. Some good companies like HSBC, Deloitte, PwC, Cisco, Samsung, etc., intake a few students.
