Placements: Around 80% of the students from our course got placed with an average salary package of 7 LPA. Top companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, PwC, TCS, Accenture, Internshala, Cognizant, CESE, L&T, MN Dastur, Mentor Graphics, Smartprix and Tata Steel Ltd visit our college for placements. Placements: Around 60% of the students of the 2019 batch are placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Godrej & Boyco, Amaron Batteries, Ramky Group, and Axis Bank are the recruiters. Marketing and operation roles are offered. Almost 100% of students got internships in companies like Coal India, Indian Oil Corporation, Havells India, IIM Kolkata, Khadims India etc.

Placements: Nearly 100% of placements are available for CSE and IT. Placements seem to be low for in core branches this year. The top recruiting companies for this year were Direct (SDE). The lowest packages were offered by MNCs like Cognizant, TCS and Infosys, considering they are mass recruiters. The internships are poor. Very few students are selected on-campus.

Placements: Percentage of placements are good, and the average placements of this college are also excellent. According to NIRF, a ranking of 2018 is 21 which is above 17 IIT and all NIT except NIT Trichy and NIT Rourkela. The average package offered to CS department students is 9-10 LPA, which is very good. Also, 75% of students from mining got placed in 2017.

Placements: CS, IT, mechanical branches have good placements, i.e., more than 90% placements every year. The salary package offered varies from 3.5 LPA to 26-30 LPA. Other departments like electrical, architecture, mining have a fairly good placement record and are amongst the best departments nationally (securing good positions in their respective departmental competitions). Placements: The placements of my department are decent and up to mark. This year placements are comparatively good than previous years. About 70-80% of the students got placed. Placements are improving every year as there is a new placement department has been set up.

Placements: Placements are quite good in this department. More than 70% of students got selected in the campus interview last year and the students selected in some of the leading companies like Coal India, Infosys, etc. Placements are done based on an interview that students give at the time of recruitment of a particular company, and based on marks that students get in IQ test.

Placements: Overall placements for this year are just sufficient but not that good as to be expected from a college of national importance. However, the placements scenario is expected to change with the introduction of new members in the placement cell.

Placements: Being an M.Tech student, you least expect placements. But in IIEST, placements are more than average for M.Tech. All the M.Tech students are allowed in the mass placement drives, but there are limited opportunities. The main recruiters for the mass are CTS, Accenture, IBM, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. For core, it was Tata Steel, Hyundai, Coal India, PWD, L&T, etc. Even there is a drive for students who are passionate about teaching.
