Excellent placements with decent faculty members but good course structure.

Placements: The placement for my batch was above average. The pace of the placements was slow after the first month, but it was consistent, and thus, by the end of the semester, 80% of the students were placed in dream round companies. Still, in January, the placements are going on. Well-reputed companies are still visiting our campus. We are hoping that 100% placement will be achieved this year too. The highest package offered was around Rs. 32 lakhs and the lowest offer was around Rs. 4.5 lakhs. The avera...

Life at IIITA: a journey you will never forget.

Placements: The placements offered are the best, more than 95% of the students were placed. There are a lot of companies who hire and take intern from here. The best part is that we have the placement session for the whole one year. All the major companies like CodeNation, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs visit and hire 3-4 students, sometimes even more. The packages we get range from 4 lacs per annum to 30 lacs per annum. The selection processes are also simple. Overall, the w...

One of the best colleges in the country.

Placements: Well, the placement in IIIT Allahabad is 100 percent from many years and last year, combined of IT and ECE branch, the average package was around 13.5 lacs per annum. Almost all big companies come here and like every year, this year also many of our seniors got placed in very big companies. The highest package was around 40 lacs per annum, and many got a package of above 20 LPA. Also, many of our seniors got placed in the 3rd year also.

Very satisfying study and research culture with good placements in 2016 and 2017.

Placements: Placements for my senior batch and my batch went very well. I can say that almost everyone who wanted to get the placement was placed. I do not remember the salary offered to them, but companies like Am Ex, Eaton, TCS, Infosys etc. visited the campus. The students were offered the roles ranging from web developer to researcher in the companies. In M.Tech, students did not apply for internships.

This is an IIT-level college if you talk about coding and the placements.

Placements: The placements are pretty much at the level of IITs as we talk about the information technology branch. This college is the first ranked college in India in ACM ICPC. But the placements in the electronics branch are getting reformed gradually year by year. Still, Qualcomm and Samsung took the electronics students this year from here at a very good package. So the placements will be very good in electronics in the upcoming years.

A best college after some top IITs colleges.

Placements: The college placement is around 100%. All the students do not get their dream job, but 50% of the students get. More than 60 companies visited every year here. As usual B.Tech guys get larger packages when compared to M.Tech guys and also the difference is high, but many M.Tech guys get very good packages. I know some students of M.Tech, and they got a package of 16 LPA in Qualcomm.

Placements: The college has some of the best IT placements in India. The issue is that not many ECE companies visit the campus. Hence, most of them get placed in IT companies. The average package is about Rs. 7 LPA. But top IT firms recruit from the college. Some recruiters include Facebook, Google, Microsoft, etc.

Placements: There are very good placements if you do coding well but it is not preferable for research. The main focus is on placements. If you are interested in coding and placements, please choose this college. Almost above 90% got placed in around 120 companies which visited the campus for placements.
