Placements: NIT Rourkela has a very great record in terms of placement in all the branches. My branch has a placement rate of more than 90%. The highest package is 20+ LPA, and the average package is 9+ LPA in my branch. Big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Apple, along with many other companies, are the top recruiters at my college.

Placements: 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 80 Lacs, and the lowest package is 10 Lacs. The average package is 30 Lacs. Top recruiting companies of the college are Amazon and Flipkart. Top roles offered in our course are coding and computer labs.

Placements: 80% of students are placed every year in our college. The highest packages is 44 LPA and the lowest packages are 3.2 to 5 LPA, with an average package of 7 to 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, Google, Meta, Genpact, etc. More than 500 students are placed in good companies for internships as well as jobs guarantees.

Placements: My college has a good placement record. The highest package offered to students in my course was 18 lakhs, and the lowest was 7 lakhs. Top recruiting companies are interested in this course. Over 70% of students in my course got internships.

Placements: Nearly 95% were placed last year from my course in my college, the highest package was around 80 Lacs, average package for my branch is around 13 Lacs which is a good package in this generation. Top recruiting companies are Barclays, Qualcomm, Texas, Analog electronics.

Placements: Around 50% student who applied were placed, but the opportunities for Int. M.Sc. student were very less, although Maths was better than all the other three branches. Also, if you have a very keen interest in coding then you can go for it. No coursework include or shall help you in the placement process. There are few companies who come for teaching Like Aakash, Fiit JEE Byjus etc. But ezcept FIITJEE and AAKASH there packages are too low.

Placements: The placements for the Architecture department are actually less in the country. Still, the country holds decent placement records in the department. Most of the students get into firms after B.Arch. The highest package provided is around 12 LPA. The top role offered is as a designer.

Placements: Every year, 100 percent of students are placed in different sectors, the highest package being 52 LPA from Microsoft and the lowest being 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Auto, ITC, HPCL, BPCL, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, TVS, ICICI Bank, etc. Most of the roles are GET (Graduate Trainee Engineer) for the first year in the company.

Placements: In my course, there is less placement because they are not eligible for many companies. But in core, we got many placement options. But then also many of our students get placed, like 60-70 percent of students get placed. And the highest package in my course is 35 lacs.

Placements: But the placements in my college are really good. All students who get a CGPA of seven or above can sit for Amazon and Microsoft placements, and for Google, it is 8 CGPA, and they check your projects and works and everything. This year, the average package went about 18 LPA for computer science, and many of the students got placed. The highest was 1.2 crores this year.

Placements: This college offers one of the best placements in India. The placements here are made easy with the help of the placement coordinator here. There is an online test (OT) then for which you will be shortlisted for an interview. The placements here have been very satisfactory. I have a friend who has received placement of 28LPA in the core section. Nothing to worry about that department as a decent CGPA will guarantee your placement here.

Placements: The campus holds great placement records. Various multinational companies like Amazon and Google have been visiting the campus for the past few years. The average package offered in the course is 10 LPA. Around 90 percent of students are placed, and the rest have gone for higher studies.

The highest package is around 83 Lacs per annum and the lowest package is around 3 Lacs per annum, with the average package around 10 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are MediaTek, Accenture, Adobe, Amazon, Dell. 50% of the students got internships from our course at Amazon, Dell, Adobe.

Placements: BTech in Ceramic Engineering offers 100% placements, which is the highest among all branches. The highest package offered was INR 33 LPA, the lowest was INR 6 LPA, and the average was INR 12 LPA. I don’t have much information about the top recruiting companies.

Placements: In this course, 90% of students get placed every year. The highest package this year was 80 lakhs per annum, and the average package was 15-20 lakhs per annum. Placements: Electrical engineering placements were very good and have 100% placements. For the academic year 2023-2024, the highest package was 43.26 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and the average package is about 8.3 LPA. About 33% of students got internship and companies recruited from electrical engineering are Visa, BPCL, Bajaj Electricals, and Tata Steel. Placements: The placement in Rourkela is good; it's in the top 3 NITS. Talking about placement in my course i.e civil engineering, it is decent; the average placement for this course is around 9 LPA, which is very less if you compare it with cs but 9 LPA in civil engineering is a decent amount to be paid as a starting package; the highest package goes around 30 LPA, so if you study well, then you can have a decent package of around 12-13 LPA, which is pretty good in this course.

The top recruiting companies are TATA STEEL, AMAZON, GAIL, APPLE, GAIL, etc. About 60% of civil undergraduates got internships at Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.
