Facilities and infrastructure are good.

Placements: It is a new NIT, established in 2010, but even after being new, NIT Delhi shows good placement records. Its placement is growing exponentially fast. Even other branch students also prepare for...

In short, I would say if you have the opportunity to get into this college, then take it.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in my college. The highest package was around 56 lacs, and the average is around 8 lacs. Top recruiting companies include Wipro and TCS. Securing an internship at NIT Delhi can be challenging due to tough competition and core branches.

Life at NIT Delhi is really simple compared to other NITs because it is the center of our country.

Placements: Placements are really good as they provide a wide range of options for students, with various types of companies visiting our campus. However, most companies are related to IT and electrical sectors, as the core branches have yet to pass out. The placements are solid, with both the average and median packages being around 15 LPA. Around 80% of students are placed, with the highest package reaching 63.5 LPA.

Don't see NIRF and blindly come to this college.

Placements: In my mechanical engineering till now, placements didn't happen and were expected to be 50–60% placed by comparing M.Tech students. This year, 2024, the highest package is 72 LPA by an EC student, the lowest is 3.6 LPA, and the average is 10-14 LPA. The top recruiters are CISCO, SHL, Deloitte, and Amazon, etc.; approximately 40% of students get internships; the top roles are tester and developer.

Placements: The mechanical branch is a new introduction here, so the first batch will reach the 3rd year. They will receive placement offers next year (2025). There are many internship opportunities available, but you need to be smart to grab them. Numerous programs offer internships.
