Placements: In the mechanical engineering branch, there are two types of placement: core and non-core placement. About 78% of students got placed in 2023. Out of some non-placed students, some went abroad for higher education, and some joined IIMs to do an MBA, while others got placed outside the campus. For core placement, there are companies like TATA, Birla, Mahindra, etc. For non-core, there are MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, De Shaw, and many more.

Placements: About 70-80% of students in my course were placed whereas others did not sit for job interviews but rather decided to prepare for government exams. The highest salary package offered is about 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 8 LPA. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Google, and Ashok Leyland.

Placements: About 68% students got placed in my branch this year, which is quite low according to previous year, top recruiters are Goldmann sach, microsoft, jaguar, tata, Google, etc., the highest this year was 54 LPA, the lowest was 7 LPA; the average was 19 LPA; and if we talk about interns, approx. 20% got intern in adobe, tata, Google, etc.; the top roles were sde, data analyst, finance, etc.

Placements: Around 81% of students got placed in electrical engineering at IIT BHU. The highest salary package offered is 1.68CPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. Around 90% of students got internships in the third year in companies like Google, Microsoft, and so much. Top role offered is software developed.

Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in our course. As we saw, even electrical students get a salary package of 1.68 CPA, and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE and web develops.

Placements: The placements in IIT BHU Varanasi are considered very good as compared to the other Tier 1 colleges in the nation and IITs. The median package for mining is 21 lacs, where as the lowest is around 10 to 12 Lacs and the highest can go up to 40 Lacs. Mainly, PSUs or government companies hire in mining field. Placements: My branch is Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) BHU. The placement percentage is about 74% of the students who got placed in the recent year, 2024. Placements: So, phase 1 placements are just finished, and about 65-70% of students in my branch got placed in December '24. This percentage is low because many of them are UPSC aspirants and they didn't sit for placements. Placements: In our batch, there are approximately 150 students. As in the recent placement sitting, about 80% got placed this year with an average package of 18 LPA. The highest package in our batch goes up to 50 to 60 LPA. Placements: Placements at IIT BHU are a huge success. IIT BHU offers strong placement opportunities with a high placement percentage. Placements generally begin in the 7th semester. Placements: Our college provides on-campus placement in which the students can sit in their final year (before the final semester). In placement 2024-25, the highest package in our college is ₹1.65 crore. Top recruiters this year are Flipkart, Google, Oracle, Accenture Japan, etc. In the mining department, usually around 60-70% of students get placed, and the average salary is usually 12-13 LPA. Top recruiters in mining are Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta.

Placements: There are more than enough rules offered for this branch, as well as the core structure, which is really interesting so that the people can explore their fields and their interest in pursuing higher education in physics, as well as give them a chance to get to know about other departments and their courses by selecting open electives.

Placements: The placements of IIT BHU are very decent if you compare it to other IITs. The placement record has been really good, even in core branches like Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Despite having a large number of undergrads, the institute was able to achieve a placement percentage over 90%.

Placements: College provides PBL (project-based learning) activities in groups, which are innovative but not very useful. Internships are not fully provided. If students want an internship, they have to find it themselves, but if they are skilled enough, the college can help them out. The stipend for internships ranges from Rs. 6,000 - Rs. 15,000. The role of the internship depends on your branch, skill, and experience in that particular field.

Placements: As my branch is CSE, there is almost 89% placements and 93% internships in IIT BHU, and there are many companies which come to our campus. Top recruiters are Rubrik, Quadeye, Graviton, Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler, and many more companies like these. Mostly, there will be SDE or quant roles and sometimes roles like product manager and all.

Placements: About 77 percent of Biomedical Engineering got placed last year with the highest package of INR 40 LPA, the lowest package of about INR 13 LPA, and the average package of INR 17 LPA. There were different types of companies hiring in the placement season. Some were hired in the core field of biomedical engineering others (majorly).

Placements: I am from the electronics branch. It's a circuital branch, so its placement rate is 90% for our batch. Approximately 135 out of 150 students are placed. The highest salary package is approximately 90 LPA, the average salary package is 32 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 16 LPA. From my course, 40%-50% of students get internships. Top roles include ML engineering, SDE, data science, and electronics core.

Placements: The placement and job opportunity is the best in our college among many IITs. We rank 3rd in terms of placement among all the IITs.
