The selection to IIIT Kota’s BTech programme is based on the candidate’s JEE Main exam score followed by the centralised counselling process regulated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through which they are allotted a seat. Yes, JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to IIIT Kota BTech programme are out now but the dates are tentative. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The total fee for IIIT Kota BTech programme is INR 7.2 lakh. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year 2023-24, hence is indicative. For SC/ST/PwD students a fee waiver of 20% is granted, also students cab apply to State/Central government Scholarships.

Candidates, to be eligible for Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota BTech programme, must have to furnish the minimum eligibility criteria required for JEE Main exam. For the same, thsy should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75 per cent aggregate. Additionally, those who are under the top 20 percentile of their board are also eligible to apply.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.
