Students at IIM Visakhapatnam can avail various scholarships and financial assistance. To avail IIM Visakhapatnam financial aid, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. Students who want to apply for financial assistance must follow a certain procedure:

STEP 1: The Financial Aid Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and the quantum of aid. First, students are required to submit an application form with the following details:

STEP 2: All eligible students who have submitted their applications are encouraged to appear for a Personal Interview conducted by a panel of faculty members.

STEP 3: The faculty panel evaluates the financial requirements of students based on the data provided in the application form, and upon their assessments, assigns a Financial-Need Score to each student. By using the weighted average methodology established by the committee, finally, shortlisted applicants are granted financial assistance.

• Income Certificate for the immediately preceding financial year

• Loan Documents (if any)
• EMI payment receipts (if any)

The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam is expected to be conducted on Nov 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on Jul 30, 2024. This programme is launched under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India (GOI).
