IIM I always being categorized as one of the premier marketing campus since its inception. But lot has been change since last 3-4 years here various domain courses are offered and healthy ratio across domains like finance, strategy, infrastructure and off-course marketing. Great Infrastructure. Concerns: Large batch size with addition of IPM and Mumbai batch.

An MBA from IIMs in increasingly becoming financially in-feasible. The number of IIMs itself and batch size per IIM is increasing every year. Number of students graduating per year is way more than what is the industry's capacity to absorb. This leads to the average compensation dipping, way below the 'general expectation' set by an IIM aspirant. To accentuate the problem, fees across IIMs is very high now. It is a very good college.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 1.2 crore per annum. Top recruiting company is Amazon. The average salary package offered was 9.8 LPA. Placements are good. The latest news of placements are provided on the official site soon.
