IIM Rohtak admissions for EGPGDSM usually starts in the month of August. The admission process for the year 2023 has been over. IIM Rohtak EPGDSM admissions 2024 is likley to start in the same month as per the last year's timeline. After the start of the application, the online assessment test and PI round will be held in the same month around.

In order to get admission to IIM Rohtak BBA LLB course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Yes, IIM Rohtak offers a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Law (IPL), which is an equivalent degree of BBA LLB. This course revolves around the in-depth learning of business management with in relation with law and governance. After the completion of this five-year Integrated course, candidates will receive a final degree of BBA LLB. IIM Rohtak IPL course is a non-residential programme. IIM Rohtak offers a course of BBA+MBA, which is named as Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). This is a combined degree of UG & PG courses in the stream of Management. Candidates can enroll for this course after completing Class 12. 

This dual degree course runs over a period of five years. Every year is divided into three terms, each of approximately 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on management. At the end of every year, students get internship opportunities for the practical learning.

• Based on Academics (Class 10/ Class 12/ Graduation): While a student with average scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation with a good CAT score certainly has good chances of getting a call from IIM-A, chances are less for someone with an average CAT score.
• Based on student category (General or Reserved): While it is tough for a General category average student to grab a seat at IIM due to high score requirements, a reserved category student can get admission being at average scores as well.
• Based on past work experience, diversity and other factors: Gender and academic diversity is also a factor on which students are shortlisted at IIM. IIMs judge the past academic category based on the degree obtained by the students before MBA and then a weightage is allotted based on that. For Engineers, the percentage for scoring the highest marks is higher as compared with other streams
• Performance in selection rounds: Once you make it to the final selection rounds, i.e., AWT/PI process, it can be considered a fresh start. At this stage, students can forget their past average-ness but definitely require good grasp over the past subjects as academics-related questions are asked in the interview.

Based on the above factors, it can be considered that while getting into top Management institutes, such as IIM is extremely tough, the past performance, CAT performance, student category and a lot of factors can be the reasons for a student to receive that final call.

Yes, all the candidates have to fill out the registration form of IIM-R separately to apply for admission at the institute. Before applying for the PGP/ MBA course at IIM Rohtak, candidates must secure a valid percentile in the CAT entrance exam. IIM Rohtak application process is completely online. For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Rohtak, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Rohtak are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

To get admission to EGPDSM course at IIM Rohtak, the minimum eligibility is to get a UG degree with minimum 50% aggregate in the last qualfiying exam of the undergraduate course. For admission to IIM Rohtak BBA LLB/ IPL course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. This is a five-year integrated course of UG & PG. In order to get admission to this course, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate (for General category) in any stream. Further, candidates belonging from reserve categories such as SC/ ST or PwD are given a relaxation of five percent. These candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 55% aggregate. The minimum age limit for all candidates to apply for BBA LLB/ IPL course at IIM-R is 20 years.
