IIM, Sirmaur is the future of IIMs.

Placements: Since we are still in the first year, we are yet to get placed. Some of the seniors from PGP03 have already been placed across the entire gamut of profiles in marketing, finance, operations, and HR. As far as internships are concerned, internships commenced right from the end of term one, and many of the students from PGP04 have already been placed. There is a placement committee in college which looks after all the placement related activities, and it has always been highly efficient.

The college is rising into mainstream B-School from the foothills of Himalayas.

Placements: Ours is the fourth batch in the college, and the previous batches have seen tremendous growth in placements compared to other IIMs. The highest salary package for summer internships was 1 lakh for the batch of 2017-19, and all the students in a batch of 65 students got placed. The current batch of 2018-20 is also undergoing some good placements. EY, DCM and Shriram have been some of the key and consistent companies recruiting students of the college.

IIM, Sirmaur is a wonderful place. I am satisfied with the institution as it is improving.

Placements: Placements in our college are awesome even though the college is one of the budding IIMs. The placement committee works ambitiously and puts in a lot of efforts for placements for all the students. Placements are improving every year. The average salary package offered has been increasing incredibly. We are in a better direction now.

A decent college. College life is not that good. A good physician almost two hours away. No finance profile was offered during summer placements. Many times, Wi-Fi will take ages to open a page. The best thing about this college is the faculty of IIM Lucknow. Hopefully one day everything will be fine.

IIM Sirmaur is situated just beside river Yamuna in Paonta Sahib. The faculty currently teaching is from IIM Lucknow which gives us pleasure to learn from the best professors in the country. To talk about crowd we just had the admission of the second batch of PGP which I think are at par with the stature of the institute. Though the bad thing about IIM Sirmaur is the lack of infrastructure. It is improving with time but it does not suit to the brand. As this is temporary campus I am sure the per...

However, most of the profiles offered here are related to marketing and for other streams opportunities are low. The basic role offered for the candidates is Management Trainee or Asst. Manager.
