On Fees and Eligibility

Q:   Can I join IIT Hyderabad without JEE?

A:

It's not possible to get admission to the BTech programme without JEE. The primary method for securing admission to IIT Hyderabad's BTech programme is by taking the Joint Entrance Examination, which is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology. JEE is a mandatory requirement for most undergraduate engineering programmes at IITs, including IIT Hyderabad. Nevertheless, it is crucial to recognise that admission processes and criteria may evolve over time. To remain informed, it is recommended to regularly visit the official website of IIT Hyderabad or reach out to their admissions department directly. It's possible to get into IIT Hyderabad without JEE only if the aspiring candidate is looking to seek admission to the MTech programme. For admission to the MTech programme the candidates need to pass GATE exam and they need to have graduation with 60% marks.

IIT, Hyderabad in my view.
Placements: Almost 80% of the people accept PPOs offered during their internships. Recently even other students who sit for placements got an average of 24 LPA which is pretty decent. Companies are Deuce Bank, Zomato, and DE Shaw. Roles include SDE, ML, and quant. As a student of MNC have a wide read of new opportunities no one fails to get into top companies with high-paying jobs.
Infrastructure: A new building dedicated to math is built where we have good infrastructure with required instruments and classrooms. Library is very well designed and timings are flexible enough to work and study together even late night. There are group discussion rooms which are really helpful.
Faculty: Professors are trained and they are IIT graduates. They are friendly and make topics interesting by involving applications in real life. Tube curriculum is designed such that a student learns math applications in computer science and AI.
Other: There are many clubs to get involved in and learn management skills like Cell, FCC, and Tedx tl. Elan and vision is the annual techno-cultural fest of IIT Hyderabad which is one of the largest fests in south india. It lasts for 3 days and epic nights to make it most memorable evening of students' college life.

The best, the latest IIT over there.
Placements: Mostly all of them will be placed. There are many opportunities. The highest is around 22 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average is around 15 LPA. Many of them go to the IT sector. Around 50% members got internships in companies like JSW, L and T, Ultratech.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top class, the latest technology, the best IIT for infra. The hostels are also good, single rooms. The quality of food is also maintained properly. Medical facilities are top class, sports is also too good. The hostels are provided with radiant cooling, so your rooms wouldn't even require any ACs.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, their teaching quality is too good. Yes, the course curriculum is also relevant and also makes the student understand the industry pretty well. The semester exams are not that difficult if we attend the classes properly.
Other: This is the best IIT out there.

Many memories in our college.
Placements: The IIT Hyderabad is the best college for placements, where more than 96% of students are placed in top tech companies in Hyderabad. If you need to relocate, they help you. The highest package offered is 38 to 52 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.7 to 5 LPA, with the average package offered by top companies ranging from 15 to 21 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Wipro, Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Uber, and HP. These companies also offer internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities are top-class, with excellent labs and all facilities like Wi-Fi. Classrooms are large, and the library is very good. The college also provides hostel facilities where we get good food. The mess is clean and offers a variety of food compared to the canteen. Medical facilities are provided, and sports and games materials are available or conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Many teachers in my college have good teaching skills and explain concepts in an understandable way, ensuring that the syllabus is covered easily. Semester exams are hard, but we all pass with good marks due to our teachers. The course is relevant to new tech. They make students ready for the industry. The semester exams are hard to pass, with a passing percentage of 98%.

Very satisfied because of infrastructure and faculties.
Placements: The percentage of the students were placed in my department was 72 percent. The highest package was 13 lacs and the average package was 8 lacs and the lowest package was 4 lacs. The top recruiting companies were Capgemini, L&T Infotech, TCS etc. Many students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are very good. The classrooms and labs are well maintained and organized properly. A well stocked library is present. The hostel rooms are average. Multiple sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The teachers are very skilled and experienced. The teaching quality is good. Curriculum activities are only conducted in the starting of semester. The semester exams are quite difficult. All the faculties and college staff is very supportive and helpful.

IIT Hyderabad has an amazing infrastructure and good placements.
Placements: IIT Hyderabad provides the best placements in top companies all over the country, and the maximum students got campus placements. Other students got better jobs themselves or started their own ventures. Internships are provided, and the students got paid for the internship. The highest package offered in 2024 was 44 lacs per annum, and the average package size was 14 to 18 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: IITs are always best in infrastructure, and like that, IIT Hyderabad provides each facility which a student can think of: well-stocked library, well-equipped classrooms, good-quality food, etc., and other facilities, but the hostel rooms are small. Sports opportunities and medical facilities are also provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and well established. Teachers here are quite knowledgeable and experienced. Their teaching style is modern and it focuses on practicals rather than theory. The curriculum is totally relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are very tough and projects are also time-consuming. Students need to maintain at least a 7 CGPA.

IIT Hyderabad campus life, placements, and fee structure.
Placements: Around 570 students are placed. The highest and average packages offered are around 65 LPA and 20 LPA, respectively. The top recruiting companies are Google, Accenture, Microsoft, PayPal, Deloitte, Oracle, etc. Some students prefer research field and other government exams like GATE, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus has modern facilities and a well-equipped infrastructure, which enhanced my learning experience. The quality of food in the mess could be consistent at times, but it didn't always meet expectations in terms of taste and variety.
Faculty: The courses curriculum rating depends on how well it covers your career growth and career goals and also cover both theoretical concepts and practical concepts. Grafting is little hard. The core subjects are so tough and also interesting. Teachers are very helpful and guide us in a very proper way.
Other: In IIT Hyderabad, we have our annual fest, Elan and Vision, which is organized for 3 days and Milan is an inter-hostel cultural and sports fests. Participating in those events helps us enhance our skills as members of the team. The library at IITH has lots of books.
