It's not possible to get admission to the BTech programme without JEE. The primary method for securing admission to IIT Hyderabad's BTech programme is by taking the Joint Entrance Examination, which is a national-level entrance exam for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology. JEE is a mandatory requirement for most undergraduate engineering programmes at IITs, including IIT Hyderabad.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Hydertabad. On the homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Announcements’.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.

Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here'. Register by entering a few basic details such as name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create a password for logins.

Step 4: Fill out the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, communication address, qualifications, etc.

Step 5: Upload the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/JPEG format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee using a debit card/credit card/net banking to submit the application.

The total tuition fee for the for the four year BTech programme at IIT Hyderabad is INR 8 lakh. This fee does not contain the hostel fee or the mess fee and only includes the cost of tuition. To apply for JEE Main 2023, candidates must pay the application fee of INR 1,000 for Boys and INR 800 for Girls. For 2022, cut off was 8716 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Hyderabad - Indian Institute of Technology. The primary method of admission is based on entrance exams, specifically the JEE Advanced exam Only the top 2.5 Lacs students from JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. Candidates wanting to get admission to IIT Hyderabad for BTech course must clear JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. The minimum eligibility includes scoring at least 75% aggregate marks in Class 12 exam. For SC/ST/PwD students, the minimum score required in Class 12 is 65%. The minimum JEE Main percentile required at IIT Hyderabad for BTech course is 98-99 percentile. This percentile may vary from year to year.
